They sell you special editions with cosmetics, the cosmetics can only be applied to one character at a time, "...each part will feel impactful..." and, "...we never want you to be able to do so!" (on the cost of buying cosmetics for every slot for a whole team) - Gautier a dev on their discord.

Game is being sold as a way to play virtual Blood Bowl with the 2020 rule set, the game won't have the full rule set until November based on their roadmap. Currently available teams are missing skills and star players.

Currently you can slip, fall, and die walking into an endzone and you will still be counted as scoring, there are issues still in the game from the first beta nearly 2 years ago.

The UI looks and feels like they couldn't decide whether to make the PC version a console port or the console version a PC port. Stage effects also make it near impossible to see players, on top of some pitches and players already having poor readability.

TL;DR
- Core gameplay issues unfixed from a beta 2 years ago
- Monetization that would make a mobile game blush
- Not a complete experience for the 12 races/factions included (missing skills/players)
- Trying to see the whole gameboard and the players? Good luck telling the linemen from the blitzers from the puddle of mud and blood.

AGS has yet to learn from all their mistakes. I would say the current game is a great example of what the release should have looked like. I've looked forward to future content being added that matches and exceeds what Brimstone Sands added to the game, but after an expansion and recent announcement it seems unlikely to happen again. For a company proud of how they listen to players, they seem more eager to resell the game to new players than listen to old players. For a studio already working on another game, a console release in place of an expansion signals one last push for money to keep development for their other game moving.

When the number one complaint since month 1 has been a lack of endgame content, and the director for the game goes on stage and sells the game as having almost too much endgame, it's not a good sign for the game.

-They didn't finish last years roadmap.

-Pushed back recycled events this year.

-Built hype for an announcement.

-Just to deliver nothing to existing players until October. And what they deliver in October looks to be what used to be a quarterly or twice a year patch.

-Development is clearly winding down, hence marketing the game as an arpg to console, if you want an MMO, this isn't the one.

Despite the matchmaking issues and some weirdness with the melee combat, the game is fun and exactly what it said it would be. Combat rewards the team that coordinates guard breaks and communicates. With spawns moving and Sheriff routes changing every match, maps play out fairly differently than one another, keeping an extended gaming session feeling less repetitive. While I am leaving a positive review, impatient potential buyers should hold off, but not run off, for some further polish (which hopefully comes soon.) I had a great time playing with my group , and will be playing more.

Want the game to improve but the devs don't listen to the US players for balance. Doesn't help English patch notes aren't even fully translated all the time, and the competitive scene caters to people in favor with a certain someone. Game is not worth investing time into.

Temtem is a very solid game which will only get better with more content, and it receives new content every few months.
