I got this game for free, and I gotta say I'm not /totally/ disappointed.
The games not good. Really, who'dve guessed, but it's not really why you'd think.
You look at the game and it looks like some animation studen't fist product
It's got cutsey, simple graphics, it's a grab the key to open the door type platformer but that's not why it's not good.
It's not good because it doesn't feel rewarding
I see no reason to grab these enormous berries(?) other than to fill my sack.
The level design was alright but the enemies felt apathetic, like they wanted to attack but couldn't
Also the lack of UI for the berries(?) to show your progress on a level by level basis should have been added.

So yeah, no. Money could be better spent elsewhere.

It's an edgier version of Nitronic Rush with a great level editor and better handling.
Would I reccomend it if you really liked the stylization of NR?
No
Would I reccomend it if you liked everything else and wanted that better?
Hell yes.

An honest to god 9/10 game. Played and loved it so much I went ahead and sold some pixels for Steam Credits™ for the Founder's pack.
Pros
-Beautiful artstyle
-Unforgiving
-Easy to learn and use interface
-Gameplay that is actually fun
-A tower defense mechanic that isn't just tacked on but serves a purpose
-Characters are all individual in their abilities and not copy pasted
-Gameplay encourages exploration of a level
Cons
-A recent update made it so that the merchants will often take resources as payment rather than the dust. This update also lowered the amount of dust found on a level. Because of that the ability to gain resources has been stunted because by the second floor you can't have enough of any one resource due to you not being able to actually place any form of harvester
-*The skill sheets in the drop down box will often bug and do the opposite of what you want it to do.(If you want to use the skill then it will sometimes drop down the box and if you want the box it will drop down the skill)* (This could be fixed by moving the skill box lower below the activateable skills and by allowing the player to change the opacity of it.)
-*A recent update replaced the hero texture on the right side with close ups of the hero's face, it bugs me personally but doesn't detract from gameplay*
-At the last door all non lit rooms will spawn monsters and they will come and come and come. 9 times out of 10 for me this ends in my death. I don't want to see this removed but I would like to see more dust dropped per level.
(** are minor complaints, not hugely problematic but an annoyance for me)

Like i said, a good 9/10. Even with the few flaws the game is one that I sometimes find hard to put down.
