A very solid and wonderful extension on what is wonderful about the Bastion game applied to the company's next game of Transistor.A story that is plays out for the player like a Noir crime detective story with a futuristic technology twist of finding out what is going on in this world and why the main character Red is even involved. The one change that I was concerned about from Bastion was the fight mechanics, yet after a short play the mechanics work great in providing combination of strategy and timing to decide what attack to use where, and best course of action to surviving. The Bastion test trails, game difficulty and unique weapon/character elements are in the game for replay and fun.
