I'm on Floor 30 and I have no idea whats going on. The melee combat is ass so only use range, the achievements are bugged and I think I'm the only one whoever got trolled with this game.

If you read Agent Orange's review of the game, I have a similar feeling about it besides I didn't die to the parking garage segments and my updated nvidia drivers (for a 2060 laptop, which is like a 1060 desktop) apparently can't handle this game as I had a lot of stuttering even on low.
I was ultimately hoping for more randomization of the scares like Mortuary Assistant and the last shift was pretty lackluster. I didn't even see anything during the last shift, but the 2nd shift was great until you get the gas explosion timer and I admit I didn't look close enough that its an island cookery instead of mounted against one of the walls. This caused me to die several times because the gas timer is short. This is where I learned the game wasn't randomized as getting spooked out of the oven was great but I was looking for more. I enjoyed the breaking up of segments into real life but some of it doesn't really go anywhere like the fog.
As an actual pizza chef, I applaud most of the pizza making segments, beyond one issue I had in the 3rd shift. You get 3 orders at a time and make a total of around 8 orders or so (causing you to make 2 batches of dough) and it's super easy to see when pizza's with Mozz cheese are done because the animation works correctly so I could throw 3 in the oven if I wanted to, but could only throw 2 in and it wouldn't allow me to put down the 3rd pizza so I had to throw it out. With a full kitchen in the back and the beer/wine cooler I thought there would be more to this gimmick but I hope they update it and add a bunch more. I also didn't get to clean the bathrooms and only wiped up one spooky spill.
There is a solid game here and I still recommend it, but I don't know if I'm going to go back for the second ending.

I'm impressed at how fun this is, but I had to max out another credit card to buy this.

Early Access Review
How do I have 236 hours and want to give this a thumbs down? Get ready for a VERY long review.
I played it back when Mistlands was just a spider web shell and the Fulings spawned there, I had "fun" and got very annoyed that the big Hearth and Home update was literally nothing, including a hot tube and a stack of coins and quit for awhile with about 170 hours played. I'm incredibly salty the devs think gloating about buying a pony, a sword and shield was their ticket to success to what has the basis of a good game. Why am I back? I got tricked into seeing what the new and improved Mistlands looks like and I absolutely hate it more than ever before. I doubt this would be invalidated when they update with the creative mode but I have HUGE issues with the game.
Gameplay Loop
So the gameplay loop is you get into an area, get the stuff from an area to build stuff to kill the boss of the area, who then drops something that unlocks the ability to go into the next area. This is fine for about 5 biomes, but as soon as you hit the plains (the 5th area progress wise) is where the issues start to arise and you get the inverse square law of tedium. The game is pretty much perfect from the meadows (1st biome) to the black forest (2nd biome) to the swamp (3rd biome), but making the swamp boss a casual filter is the dumbest thing I've ever seen in my life. Even back in its earlier iteration most players quit at Bonemass because of how its designed (you have an area that is all weak to slash, but the boss is resistant to slash and weak to crush). The 4th Biome (Mountains) got an update to have dungeons in it, and the idea is kind of cool and wolves are fun to fight, but the 5th Biome (Plains) is the moment you start wondering why you're still playing. At this point you're about 30+ hours, you have your base built the way you like it and then it hits that you now NEED to make a base in the Plains in order to continue. You need to grow Barley (food) and Flax(armor) and transporting your black metal back to your main base (probably in the plains) is going to be extremely tedious compared to when you did it with Iron (swamp). They also nerfed the abundance of Shaman Totems to activate the boss, so what awful ♥♥♥♥. I'm not even going to complain that the new building materials you get with Tar as an item are just worthless to make when you already made your entire base layout using the base material, and you don't get anything for it when creatures won't attack it very often anyway and Tar is a pain in the ass to get.
Mistlands Rant
So you get through all this and what does Mistlands do? Let me start by saying our group is about 3-5 people, we have someone who likes building, I enjoyed the dungeons/killing Fulings, another guy enjoyed taming (could rant about how worthless it is without t2 wolves or a good lox setup) and the last guy did whatever, but we actually have a god tier Mistlands area and it's STILL CBT. We did an unironic random pin of putting the Nword on a random area, it turned out to be Mistlands and we immediately had 2 dwarf settlements AND a dungeon (which will be told later why we used Valheim-map.world) that contained THE ONLY boss marker with 5 of the dark cores to make the new upgrades. Mistlands Dungeons are VERY sparse, you need at least 15 Dark Cores for the items and dungeons can not even spawn them, and other reviews have them looking for 3 dungeons for 30 hours. We haven't found a 2nd dungeon after 15 hours and we STILL can't use magic yet! THE WHOLE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ PURPOSE OF MISTLANDS. This is their big update until they can make an Ashlands update in a year and I think they purposefully elongated the crappy content from the Mistlands to keep the illusion that there is a lot of content there. It's just so tedious we had to world hop with each other to transport black metal bars for the Sap extractors. I no longer feel bad about doing that because after 40 hours into the plains, the devs no longer respect my time with the content that is here. I'm going to cheat to finish the Bug Queen and I'm going to uninstall this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.

End Result
Don't buy this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, the devs openly admitted once it hits 1.0 there will be no updates to it, and the food system is this game is still trash, but Mistlands is the worst thing ever and I played Old School Runescape and Eve Online.

Ass We Can.
Only issue I have is I can't tell how much health I have (died once) and some of the voice acting was too quiet, otherwise I enjoyed the meme. Thank you.
