Fun game for its price. Quite a few characters to choose from that each handle differently and bring their own style to combat. You can make runs harder or buff yourself up sometimes, and there's a couple ways to approach bosses whether you feel confident you know all their moves and tells, or just want to play it safe and get through it.

Every character has some method or upgrades to prevent themselves from being starved for health, and I believe melee generates energy for your special more than ranged attacks, so aside from not getting a perfect on bosses, it can feel worthwhile to be risky and try to get in close instead of hanging back all the time for a slower win.

(Though this isn't one of the fangames that lets Mokou get unique revival mechanics, she does still get good health manipulation that can still feel like immortality, so all isn't lost.)
