Do not believe the media hype around this game; it is EXCELLENT.

The loving care they clearly put into this game is evident from the very first hour and I have not seen ANY 'woke' stuff in my 10 hours. I will add the caveat that videos I am seeing online giving poor reviews are using the English dub, which is extremely cringe. Use immersive mode for the original Japanese and Portuguese and you won't have to suffer any of that nonsense.

10/10, recommended to fans of Tenchu, Ninja, or Japan.

Basically powdertoy as a tactical shooter. Every pixel is simulated and the emergent gameplay is awesome. Highly recommend!

This software controls my life and has for the past 7 years.

This game is so amazing in its simplicity and pure fun. The shooting is tight and the gameplay is addictive. I’m gonna go play it now.

One wish is that the AI had a little bit higher of a detection range, since it’s kinda easy to cheese them.

Everything you could want in a remaster. If you liked the old games, just go ahead and buy it. You won't regret it.

I wanted years for this thing to come out and it does not disappoint. It's a bit like playing with toy soldiers when you were young and seeing how big of an army you can build, then trying to outdo yourself. Highly recommend the Shadow mode.

This game allows you to run an intelligence organization with a focus on containing and running counter-proliferation operations surrounding various technologies. The characters have different strengths and weaknesses, and you can dispatch them to a target country accordingly. The goal is to use real-world MICE coercion tactics against the scientists in each country to recruit and, ultimately, exfiltrate them. You can bribe them, appeal to ideology, abduct them, or seduce them.

Although it is not the deepest gameplay you'll ever find, it scratches a very specific itch for those looking to run HUMINT operations and turn agents.
