I bought this game for the tiddy honestly, then I liked the story, then I 100%'d it. Now I own like 3 different Senran Kagura games. Ryobi is best girl, idgaf if she's flat, don't at me, or do, I don't care.

After like... 5 years ish of having this game I finally 100%'d it which makes my review totally helpful.

Bragging rights and jokes aside it's a pretty fun game, between this and the remake I'd obviously go for the remake since this one is outdated and the graphical aspect is ass compared to how Tifa looks on the remake, however, you still need to beat this one to fully understand the story of the remake so haha.

this game has a killer soundtrack and playing it while you're highaf only makes it more trippy that it already.

however, you're gonna die over and over again and I can see why people would get fed up with it

it's still a good buy during a sale since it's pretty short yet difficult

Had to restart the game cause I forgot what happened at the beginning lol (loaded from a cloud save)

Kinda wish the game had stuck with a single style between action adventure and RTS instead of just combining the two, also, the controls for the RTS sections are ass.

Also wish the game wasn't so damn short, you can probably beat it in 6 to 8 hours if you solely do the main quest. Side quests are repetitive and the vast open world seems interesting at the beginning until you realize there's pretty much nothing to keep you locked in a single zone other than the collectibles that have no impact on your abilities except to be able to buy stuff at the motor forge and the gagged dragons or whatever the hell they are that boost your health.

Tab Slabs are pretty cool and so are the licks if you're a guitar player.

Soundtrack is absolutely killer though even the kabbage boy songs lol (seriously listening to Cradle of Filth's Her Ghost In The Fog in that one particular fight was awesome to say the least especially because well FOG lmao)

Story is kinda generic but it doesn't bore you. Script is hilarious if you're into Jack Black's humour and whatnot. Voice Acting is good but not great, what killed it for me was Lita Ford's performance, she sounds like she had meatgrinder in her coochie torturing her to death. Other than that, Rob Halford's, Lemmy's, Kyle Glass and Ozzy's performances were great.

If you're into heavy metal, Jack Black and Kage, action-adventure or RTS games this one's a must, however, if you like the above but not that big on RTS BUT you're willing to put in the extra effort to learn the ropes of it still get it.

With that said, BUY IT ON SALE, you can get it for $3.75 during a sale. If it's not on sale wait for it to be cause this is an 11 year old game to fork out the $15/20 it usually goes for depending on where you live.

Also, dunno if this was only a me thing but sometimes I wasn't getting the prompts to press Y to talk to people, or whenever I freed the dragon statues, song changed or whatever the thing wouldn't show up. It'd fix itself but yeah, just a little annoying especially when you're in the car and you really dig a song >:(

The good: The graphics hold up to today's standards and I'm sure with mods it'll look even better, I remember the console version even had a wet clothes fx which for some reason is not present on the PC port. The gameplay is good, having a second lightsaber adds a lot of combo fluidity compared to the first one and the game is pretty linear with always having to go forward and clear the next area off enemies then face a mini boss then a big boss and yadda yadda.

The bad: Getting this piece of ♥♥♥♥ to run is a challenge in itself. I've read people can't use their controller, others crash on boot, in my case is that I can be playing and kicking ass but all of a sudden the game locks up, loses audio and video and I'm forced to restart or other times it just crashes as soon as it loads a checkpoint.

The combat in this game is amazing and definitely the reason why this game did so good back in the day, well other than the obvious DC character. However, I find it stupid that Batman has to find the damn gel inside an asylum, like I know it's a video game and all but come the ♥♥♥♥ on, why doesn't he go in prepared? >:(
