This is the game that finally replaced Planescape: Torment as my favorite game of all time.

This is the video game equivalent of putting on a comfy pair of pj's and lying down in a feather bed. An extremely chill game with graphics that evoke the nostalgia of the psx, and the aesthetic of animal crossing, your goal is ostensibly to reach the summit of the island, but really it's to explore it, talk to your fellow campers, and participate in activities. Said activities - like fishing, racing and stick volleyball - are simple but fun, and there's no fail state or limit on attempts. The game is a small, but well curated experience. If you make a bee line for the island's peak, you could probably finish the game in under an hour easily, but I wanted to search out every corner of the island and finished the game in over two hours. However I will be going back soon to search out more collectibles and help out characters with their tasks - anything to spend a little more time in this charming world.

This is the game GTA wishes it could be.
