This game is a cross between The Sims and DayZ. Putting the player in the highly engaging role of survivor during a zombie apocalypse, offering tons of experience through environmental storytelling. You can choose your character build to craft a variety of narratives for role playing.
The multi-player has some hiccups, esspecially when modding, but nothing gamebreaking.
There's plenty of option to tweak for setting up the world to your playing style, so you can make it way harder or much more forgiving.
Keep in mind a large portion of the game play is highly akin to The Sims, in the sense that you're constantly taking care of your characters needs. Completing certain tasks can get tedious in multi-player without the timeskip function you get in single player, but I think that just adds to the immersion. And the game is way better with friends, so nothing really gets that tedious as long as you're having fun surviving the undead hordes.

A highly engaging experience. Meant for Co-op, this game gets better the more you communicate and work together. Everything is out to kill you, and eventually will, but learning how to deal with each enemy and obstacle is all part of the fun.

I can never tell if the game is bugged. No matter what I do my cities never expand. I've followed every word of the tutorials and watched dozens of videos. But my 'RCI' always ends up in the negative and nothing ever gets built. It seems like you have players have to build an extremely specific, ridge grid-like city if they ever want to progress. You don't get to build what you want, you just add more squares until you get sick of this pointless game.

I can never tell what I'm supposed to be doing. The easiest difficulty for the 'story setting' says something about providing waypoints, but so far I haven't seen any, I'm just wandering around trying to figure out where to be, re-listening to every audio tape.

Still one of the greats.
