Hello. You can indeed save your progress between runs, which is your talents and unlock progress for each weapon/scroll. And since it's a roguelite game, you are expected to have your build prepared to face tougher challenges, so the Tomb is where you begin from scratch by collecting necessary equipments to help you move forward.
