Don't get fooled by the positive reviews, as they're all people trolling or reviewing it positively bc of memes...
The controls suck, the community is toxic. Most of the things you can do in game don't do anything at all.
Such as Tackles, which are 100% useless in this game.

Very cool concept, but bad game.

This game is simply amazing, the immersion in this game is incredible and makes it super fun. The story is great (though the main quests are short) If I play this I definitely recommend playing the side quests, also playing the DLCs would greatly help you understand the story and be more immerse in the game. This game is very difficult in the beginning, your character (Henry) is very weak at the beginning of the story, since you're not a "super human dragonborn killer", you're simply the son of a blacksmith at a small city on medieval times. You don't have experience fighting, or pickpocketing or lockping, etc... Since this game tries to be "historically accurate" even reading is a skill in this game you have to learn. Great game overall, only complaint I have is that the camera goes crazy while fighting over 2 opponents at the same time.

After playing this game for over 200 hours I finally decided to write a review.
This game is amazing, it's basically a "how long can you survive" survival game, since the difficult progresses every day (in-game day).
This is a sandbox, how you survive is completely up to you. What I (and I believe most players do) is build a concrete bunker, fill it with traps and build some windows (closed by iron fences) to shoot from inside the bunker. Ammo can be scarce in the game, so I work to make at least 1k ammo per week (in-game time), 1000 bullets may seen a lot, but I usually use almost all of it on the seventh day.

The game is very realistic, with many communnity servers to join. With mods, the leagues and cars you can race with on this games are "unlimited", there are some private leagues you can join to race with. THe game is quite old now, and the graphics aren't that great, but overall, if you're a motorsports fan, I really recommend trying this game out.

If you've played the old GTA's (or the "recent", yeah... We're getting old) GTA Chinatown, most likely you will enjoy this game

Summary? Good, however I'd recommend you waiting a bit to play this game, there are a lot of bugs and problems.

Cons:

First thing: some bosses are literally impossible to beat without lucky, since they literally go inside walls, and you can't see them (also it's very hard to determine where they are based on the sound effects), for these bosses you literally need to play many times until u have enough lucky to guess where the boss is coming from.

Second thing: A lot of texts written in broken English, and the audio of the game is not 100% in English, like the old one, just a few dialogues have been translated (doesn't bother me much, since the captions are very accurate, but be aware of this, if this bothers you).

Third: Game feels incomplete, there are a lot of features that appears in the game, but are not really in the game, such as the "Urban Legends" section in your phone.

Fourth: Game is not so scary as the first one (and even the keepers of the dark, even though I didn't like that game, however I love the original one), specially due to the fact that Linda is not such a naive and defenseless girl (being defenseless on the first game, made it more scary, because there's no action, just hiding, of course there were fights with ghosts, but it was not physical, so it was very scary, take games like outlast for example), such as the first game, here we can literally fight with the ghosts (using actually weapons, such as axes, knifes and a "keris"). For me, I'm really a fan of horror games, so this was a bit disappointing.

Fifth: I felt this game is pretty short, maybe even shorter than the first one, which was their first game and also was developed with a lower budget, with less technology and with a shorter time, developers focused too much on graphics and forgot about story and gameplay.

Pros:

Graphics have improved a lot comparing to dreadout I (the keepers of the dark has the same graphics level as the original game).

This game explains what happened in the last game, and you finally got the revenge your friends and kill Miss Siska however it doesn't tell us how Yayan and Ira died, or even if they are really dead or just disappeared, since we only could see (in the first game) that Shelly and Doni died. so it leaves doesn't explain everything that happened in the first game... I mean, come on Digital happiness, we literally waited 6 years for the answer, it's not in the movie (which is unrelated to the game), and also not in both sequences...

The "open world" felt really great on this game, however as already stated in the cons, the game is too short, so unless you spend long hours exploring the map instead of doing the story (which is why I have some hours, this game can be finished in 3 to 4 hours if you only focus on story, maybe even less than 3 hours).

Would I recommend this game? Absolutely. don't get me wrong, it's a good game, but could be much better

This game is really scary, graphics are beautiful (specially considering it's age and also that's an Indie game), gameplay is amazing and very immersive (You feel you are in the game), and also the game is very affordable. I highly recommend this game!!

Terrible... This game is literally unplayable...

Edit: After many years I've decided to give this game another shot, it's incredible how much has this game changed and evolved over time. I had trouble even launching the game in the past and also it was pretty laggy, now I can run on the highest settings at 1080p with no problem. The game is really fun, you really feel like you're one of the crew members in those boats fighting till death against the "enemy".
I really enjoyed what you've done on this game after so many years Mastfire, great job, It's always good to see great indie games out there.

This is a good game, but has a lot of problems... Honestly, I never tried the multiplayer, the main story is extremelly short and in the end there's a lack in the story, we don't really know what happened... The game has also, some bugs, but nothing really annoying.

A game of 2011 and still being one of the betters games of the actuallity.
