TLDR; Game has been great so far, lots of performance complaints but lacking info from these reviews. Give the game a shot yourself, it performs great for a lot of people. If it doesn't perform, refund. Make sure drivers are up to date and Windows it up to date.

I normally don't review games until after I've put a good amount of time into them and they're completed, but due to the overwhelming amount of negative reviews for performance without enough data to go on for general readers I felt the need to throw a positive performance review in.

With NVIDIA 581.29 and the most recent Windows 11 beta updates installed, my 3 buddies and I are all getting great performance at 1440p. My personal rig is a i9 14900K/RTX 4080 Super/2x32GB 6000mhz DDR5. Without Frame Gen/DLSS I've experienced the game majority maxed out @ 1440p above 100FPS. With DLSS/Frame Gen I hover between 160-180 with zero hiccups. I see comments of Ryzen 9 9950x/RTX 5090 setups complaining about performance and others with much more budget setups running just fine at 1080p medium/high settings above 100FPS and I'm not sure where the disconnect is.

The game does run on the dreaded UE5 and naturally will have performance bugs just based on history of UE5 games as of late. However, I would not allow this to stray you away from the game. I'm having an immense amount of fun. I would definitely give the game a shot and see how it performs for you as the overall gameplay expectations are met.

Reviewed after 100% game and achievement completion.

I originally played this back when it debuted on PS4 and thought it looked great back then. Returning to it now with this remastered version showed me that it could be even further improved. Playing @ 4K on an OLED screen maxed out this game looks absolutely phenomenal, and plays just as well. Similar to the Batman Arkham games, you will truly feel like Spiderman when playing this.

Being an open world games, there are a lot of strings pulling you every which way in your travels through New York. When going for 100%, one of my cons is how daunting it is chasing all of the Crimes down, especially once you get to the DLC and have done well over 60 Crime events already. If I had one major gripe about the game, they needed to cut these back a bit to make it more suited with the playtime of the rest of the objectives you will be going after. The story is great and will keep you pulled tightly. Side missions correlate to what is going on around you, but will make sense regardless of when you play them during your playthrough.

Traveling the map is fantastic and you will rarely find yourself using the fast travel function until you get to a point that you are trying to rush through. My Ultimate NG+ playthrough was more of a speedrun to knock the final two achievements out of the way and it was used thoroughly. But throughout my main playthrough I simply enjoyed swinging around on my travels (again, for the 2nd time).

This was my first time experiencing the DLCs, and I can say that I enjoyed them. They were about 2-3 hours each for 100% completion, and it definitely adds a bit of difficulty to the end of the main story game with new enemy types that are more aggressive. However, they're ultimately all a part of a main story enemy archetype that are dealt with in the same fashion. The DLCs weren't obnoxiously long, tied up some main story loose ends, and I believe (I haven't played Miles Morales yet) will carry over into Miles Morales very well.

I'd recommend this to any Spiderman or superhero appreciator, or simply someone who loves open world action games.

Similar to Lethal Company but takes itself somewhat less serious. Awesome game to play with friends. Lots of oh ♥♥♥♥ moments and even more laughs.

Early Access Review
Rewriting my original review now that I have all Masterworks and have done all of the quests. All that I really have left to do is forge the remainder of the gear that I haven't gotten around to for Magic and Ranged. TLDR, the game has issues but is definitely worth playing, 100% so if you already enjoy RuneScape. Heavily looking forward to the future of this.

RuneScape: Dragonwilds has amazing potential. Carrying RuneScape lore, characters, progression (loose) and equipment will make any RuneScape lover feel right at home, but in a survival crafting. I say survival heavily, as that will be the start of the Cons to the game in it's current early access state. Keeping in mind the game's been in early access 5 days and hasn't had any notable tuning patches, here are the Cons and Pros that hopefully developer's are reading and seeing:

Cons:
- The warband raids, hunting parties, and the dragon attacks need to be tuned. They are far too frequent, and them possibly happening at once while you're already fighting for your life in the late-game essentially forces your death. Upon respawn, you make it back and are hit with it again. Even with several lodestones placed, it is extremely infuriating. Moreso once you've already killed the dragon!
- The Tier 2 building pieces require far too much material at this time. There needs to be other gathering opportunities available to make it worth attempting to build a large base.
- I played solo but have seen many complain about griefing in public servers. Understandably you can't control other's behaviors, but it would be nice if there was a defense to not make it so easy to go in and delete everything someone built.
- There needs to be actual defense capabilities for your base. The current warbands don't do too much damage at least in the area my base is in at Brynmoor, but later on it may become an issue.
- The movement needs tuned, jumping especially. I've played platforming games for the past 25 years. There is a platforming portion of a vault (avoiding spoilers) that requires solid inputs or you fall to your death and I guarantee it will make a lot of people rage. Sometimes you jump and it doesn't register you started sprinting and you slowly slide down instead of lifting, sometimes you jump too high and the freefall is extremely sluggish to manuever.
- Constantly stuck in animations or I will find myself kicking while I am aimed down sight with the bow in the middle of a hectic fight which caused me to die several times. These animations could use tuning.
- Stamina drain is tough. Not sure if it's a feature, but even once you've learned how to use it properly it doesn't quite cut it. Even with maxed gear in current game, the weak warbands goblins will almost kill me due to stamina loss. When fighting large groups there just is not enough stamina to allow you to fight and also maneuver.
- The difficulty spike when getting fit for bronze gear and iron gear is diabolical, I would tune it down just a bit. With the best gear you can have going into the next area you will struggle to fight a single mob. Get attacked by two? Good luck.
- Thirst, Hunger, and Fatigue all need to be tuned down about 50% to make the game more enjoyable and less tedious. Love the mechanic, hate the frequency.
- Show lodestones on the main map, not just lodestone map.
- A spell to increase processing on stations that don't use fire would be a great addition.
- Increase construction experience rates a tad, a person would more than likely hit 99 woodcutting before they hit 50 construction in it's current state.
- Runes are a little too plentiful. Odd complaint, but a person can almost never run out of runes, and when the rest of the game seems to be starving you it feels out of place. I would make them slightly more scarce by decreasing quantities when crafted.
- Combat isn't very well balanced. Ranged and Magic make it a little too easy, but I guess that you could say the same with the MMO!

Pros:
- Beautiful soundtrack, the Brynmoor soundtrack will surely spark some people's hearts.
- They've managed to keep the quests similar to the MMOs. No objective markers, just information. Figure it out if you want, Wiki it if you don't.
- Beautiful graphics despite the forced options that others are complaining about, I left it out as a con as it does look good for me on my OLED setup, but I would make it optional.
- Skill progression as a process is great.
- Building is phenomenal and easy.
- Spells are all super useful.
- Material processing and creation speeds are just right.
- Plenty of combat options.

I've purchased this game on PS5 as well on PC and 100% them on both. Worth my time and money 2x over, would recommend to anyone at all ages if you're into platformers.

I feel like I've played enough of Rivals to give it a fair review. Disclaimer, I never played Overwatch, so this was a fresh experience of sorts for me. At the time of this review, and for the past month or so, the only 3 achievements that remain for me are Captain America's, Wolverine's and Magneto's. I have ample time playing just about everyone, however I do main Strategist (healer).

Marvel Rivals is the most fun I've had in a multiplayer game in a long while. I waited about 2 weeks to give it a try because I didn't understand the hype, and it's been my go-to since for multiplayer shooting. The game is free, but what they monetize isn't heavily expensive and their events have been great so far. NetEase is also not afraid of dishing out free Units (in-game shop currency) to it's players. I have about 4k currently which is enough for almost 3 skins and have only bought both Battle Passes and the most recent $3 Venom event skin bundle. On top of that, the skins are great. I never feel like I'm having the store and skins crammed down my throat (looking at you CoD), and I'm much appreciative of it.

Gameplay wise it was fresh for me. It took me a bit to learn the ins-and-outs of how the different game modes worked, and how each hero is supposed to interact with one another. For me, I love healing in this game with the Strategist heroes. I can still provide heavy amounts of DPS while healing my team, and having low health that can cause me to die quicik and having to keep LOS of my team makes for very busy gameplay that I love.

My least favorite role to play is Tank, as I don't feel like I'm providing much to the team until I see the scoreboard at the end of the match that was just won. DPS is fun as the main focus is killing the enemy healers to allow for a strong push while the enemy team cannot heal. Most people must feel this way as in almost every match everyone decides to insta-lock a DPS (duelist), which brings me to my complaints.

How your team plays and acts will play a huge role in your enjoyment of this game, especially in Competitive ranked mode. In Competitive all the system cares about is your wins, or your losses - nothing more. Depending on your role and hero played, it can be tough to make up for a player or two not doing the greatest and you will derank. Ranked feels like a grind in that the more you play the higher you will rank, and I'd prefer that the system be the better you are, the higher you will rank. A lot of people placed higher in ranked especially in GM/Eternity only know how to play one hero good, and will drop the ball every time if they can't play them. If you can't fill a role, you shouldn't be in that high of a rank in my opinion.

I'd highly suggest checking this game out, it's free, and it's fun.

I platinumed the original release of HZD on PS4, again on PS5, and then had to come back for more here on PC. Horizon Zero Dawn is a must play game if you're into open-world story games. The world is expansive and lively, the visuals are fantastic even by today's standards, and the combat is as fun as you make it. Making use of the game's many weapon types and elemental weaknesses is key to success. I suggest everyone give this game a chance.

Don't let my playtime fool you, I have more time given to RuneScape than any other games combined. RuneScape 2 was my childhood. OSRS, today's iteration, expands upon what I and most people who played back when this game was #1 on Miniclip next to Club Penguin. This is one of the coziest games you could play, and you will definitely always remember it. If you enjoy grindy RPG games and levelling up skills, or want to experience quests in a game that aren't go fetch this item, then OSRS is perfect for you.

I've put a lot of time into Apex over the years. One of my favorite BR games. Getting kills in Apex is much more satisfying than in most BRs because you feel like you really earned it. TTK is generally long and if you aren't playing at your peak, it can be extremely brutal. My heaviest complaint about the game is it's piss poor audio. A lot of the time you cannot tell where people are, as the directional audio begins acting up. I haven't played it much recently, but it will always have a special place.

The game in and of itself is fantastic. Awesome cooperative gameplay with friends with one of the better live-service experiences you can have.
