Ye Guild Clerk is a free, short game and somehow it became the best 74 minutes of my life. I'm not exaggerating. This was the absolute peak of my existence and no other game has ever brought me this much pure joy. I am not sure anything ever will.

So many strange, perfect coincidences came together here:
I love frogs. I love mushrooms. The very first adventurer I give a quest to is a frog named Greg, and of course I send him to collect mushrooms.
A few moments later, I meet a labrador named Maggie. Coincidence? That's also my doggo's name irl.

To be honest, I was so happy that during the first 15 minutes of the game I was literally crying tears of happiness.

This game is incredibly cute, cozy and relaxing. But most importantly: I've always dreamed of being the person who hands out quests in an adventurer's guild. This game let me live that dream. And it did it perfectly. I genuinely wish this game would continue to grow. More quests, more characters. After getting the permanent clerk position, an endless mode where you could stay in this world forever.

Thank you to the developers for making me THAT happy.
Extremely recommended.

100% achievements completed.
For an indie game - this is a great one.

Good
  • Beautiful visuals.
  • A dark theme handled thoughtfully, without sliding into cheap shock value or vulgarity. Huge respect for that.
  • Item names deserve their own award - absolute masterpieces.
  • The music is great. After 30+ hours it fades into the background, but during the first 10-15 hours I was vibing hard.
  • Great build variety: some builds are insanely strong, others weaker but still fun. With good drops, you can become a real killing machine.

Needs Improvement
  • Only one ending. I really expected something for Inferno mode.
  • Extremely frustrating drop rates:
1. I spent over 5 hours farming a single item needed for recipe 15 - the Sceptre of Thermistophles Xenozytarch. I was already playing a relatively patched version of the game, yet the situation still reached an absurd point. In the end, I had to resort to saving before a chest and reloading the game until the correct chest appeared, just to stop the suffering. Even with this method, it still took around 20 minutes.

2. Huge loot disparity between players. I played the game in parallel with a few friends, and the difference in loot was shocking. I actually consider myself extremely lucky: during my first playthrough and roughly half of Inferno mode, the game was fairly generous to me, and I only truly struggled with one item. My friends, on the other hand, were consistently receiving about a third of the loot I did overall. This strongly suggests that the loot algorithm is poorly tuned and overly dependent on luck, forcing excessive grinding and frustration, which is not okay for a game of this length.

But despite all its flaws I enjoyed my time with the game. So I recommend it, and I am honestly looking forward to a sequel.

Early Access Review
I have been playing this game for over a year now and have watched it go through many changes. It's clear how much heart the developer puts into the project and how genuinely they care about both the game and its players. We keep getting regular patches with fixes, new activities and overall improvements.

I still remember when the chances of getting into the racetrack were close to zero. And now I can easily go there on my own (= drive in one of my dozens of cars). The stock market behaves completely differently compared to the early days, and there are so many fun events and little details to discover throughout the game.

This is probably one of the most relaxing and cozy games I've ever played.
I genuinely recommend Stonks-9800 and the developer TERNOX for all the love and work poured into this project.

It was 2025 and for the first time in my life I decided to play Dark Souls.
I have come to this great land to find out what's going on and why people love it so much.
And instead I found my very own sun.

This game taught me a lot.
It showed me that not everything unknown is truly frightening.
It showed me how frustration can become my greatest enemy, and that only trying, moving forward and refusing to give up brings real progress.

Special thanks to Andre and Laurentius for keeping me alive with their words of encouragement,
to the silver knights of Anor Londo, who forced me to learn how to parry,
and to Knight Artorias the Abysswalker, who taught me that before me should stand only my goal and my enemy - nothing else matters.

Now it is time for New Game+

Don't give up, skeleton.

I genuinely loved everything about Boxville 2. Seriously - everything!
Playing felt like being Jim Hawkins in his can-shaped form - constantly running around, causing minor chaos for some characters while solving problems for others. It was cute, silly in the best way and hit me right in the feels <3

Also, it’s great to see how the devs listened to past feedback. The menu is now much more intuitive and there’s no risk of accidentally deleting your game and starting over. Huge win!
The sound design? Absolutely adorable. Every noise is packed with personality and charm.
And the art? SUPER DUPER MEGA AWESOME
I genuinely love every scene, every can, every single animation - with all my heart.

If I had to nitpick:
Poor Bureaucrat… We definitely disturbed his natural habitat way too much. Sorry, buddy.
And the only real downside? Now I have to wait all over again for the Boxville 3.

Really enjoyed this game!
-> Did I run into nearly every possible bug and still have a few tiny issues (lucky me)? Totally!
-> Does dev Ternox deserve all the praise in the world for the regular fixes? Hell yeah!

Report anything in the pinned thread and fixes come out pretty quickly. Plus Ternox works on this and other indie games at the same time which deserves solid respect

Also, the fact that the game supports Ukrainian language is just awesome. It makes the game feel even more special. If you want to play it in English - there is an option, but I'm glad we have wide options and can enjoy the game to its fullest
Though the game is still in development, I had fun. Totally worth checking out!

Boxville is an absolute gem! The moment when the red ball finds its can nearly brought me to tears - it’s so touching! :3

The visual style is stunning. I love how the artists played with perspective, making the world both charming and unique <3 The characters are simple yet relatable. UI/UX could use some work, though. The reset button was pretty brutal to me. I honestly thought that the star button was the save one. But I’m hopeful the developers will fix this in the Boxveille 2. The music is fantastic and perfect for unwinding after a tough week. Sometimes, you just need a heartwarming game with happy ending and cute encounters (and Boxville nails it).

I can’t wait to see more characters and cool locations in future parts. I’d love for the game to be longer - it’s as refreshing as a cold drink on a hot day! So pleeeease give us a bit more cuns and boxes in the second part :3
