its a solid fps, and in general i like it, im am just not a fan of the lock on melee system tho. melee feels bit clunky and slow and low damage in general. i get your an ultramarine, not a world eater, but still, if your taking the risk to charge in there, you should be rewarded with results better than very slow single target kills only and lower damage than the basic gun. also, it flashes a giant melee button prompt in the middle of your screen at all times when your close to enemies or currently using melee, which i found distracting. its not like there is a giant picture of a gun in the middle of my screen at all times while i shoot. overall its a pretty good game, just dont expect tons of gameplay variety, and remember the best way to play is to be codex compliant and use cover and distance and shoot and stuff like that. i guess im still just gona have to wait till space marine 2 to sate the nails.
i do enjoy the game tho and actually would recommend it, i just thumbs down to express my feelings with the melee. anyone looking for a game with hacking and slashing, not this one, this is mostly shooting and your sword is just a flashy emergency backup. if they just made it so your sword actually had a hitbox so you could slash about yourself in a way that feels good and makes sense, it would be so much more fun, but having this WoW ass lock on targeting system paired with underwhelming damage just really slows down close combat and makes melee terrible to use against groups or strong enemies.

game play can be frustrating, and the game is pretty short for the price, but it has a lot of charm.

amazing fighting game. only draw back is small community. can be hard to find online matches if you dont play during prime play hours.

its fun. wish there was more content. an online vs mode of some kind would make it so much better. still very fun for a chill solo game tho.

this game is fantastic. not only is the base concept fun, but the developer constantly updates it to improve balance, basic gameplay, and to make more builds viable. there is a lot of heart put into this game, and it shows, it is very fun :)
if your not sure if you want to get this, check out the youtube channel Ultra C, they have tons of lets plays of this game and give you a good idea of many of the different builds you can do in this game.

a game about running, and not a very balanced one. no longer supported so none of its issues will ever be fixed either.

changed my review to thumbs up. as a person who plays alot of pvp, i have over 600 hours into dark souls 3 now, mostly doing pvp, i have to say that the updates they made and the dlcs have added a lot to the pvp experience. its not perfect, but this is the place to find the best souls like player vs player action.
