This review is going to have a mix of the Good and the Bad, though, I personally will lean more on the side of Good. I have beaten the game, and have 100% of the Achievements, and this is what I have to say about the game.

What I Like:

Combat Mechanics - every vocation/play-style is unique, and equipped with a variety of skills which help broaden fighting on the battlefield. You can max yourself into any vocation, try out any fighting style making it a very versatile feature.

Story - follows a strong plot-line, one that really strikes back to the original Dragons Dogma. It was enrichening every step of the way. All the plot-points have continuity with each other, and nothing feels very off-beat.

Quests - all are moderately in-depth. Not to the point where it drags you away from the Story, but to the point where you feel a little connection with the NPC's handing out the quests. The variety of outcomes is also an added bonus.

Pawn's/Follower's - there is a good variety when it comes to choosing pawns, and I REALLY enjoy using the Advanced Pawn Search feature so I can customize my party of pawns with ease and full discretion. Not many talking lines (so they are basically a bot), but have the potential to still be good allies as they can still point things out, be quest guides, etc.

Weapon's and Armor - similar to the combat, there is quite a variety, with the added bonus to customize enhancements to both weapon's and armor.

Map Exploration - HUGE map with TONS to explore. In all sincerity, it would take hundreds of hours just to comb through the map, but because it is so expansive, there is no shortage of curiosity to be had.

Big Enemies - very fun to fight, all unique in their own ways.

Character/Pawn Customization - 11/10.

What I Don't Like:

Microtransactions - granted, you do NOT have to buy ANY DLC for this game. Most things you can buy with real money, you can mostly find in game. For that reason, I think having Microtransactions available period, is dumb and comes across as money grabbing, especially for a game at an already expensive puchasing point ($70.00 USD as of this review).

Weapon's and Armor - despite the variety, there is an ultimate form of what the best of the best is, and over time, you will start to understand that variety means very little when it comes to a select few that are best by default. For example, if you want the best armor in the game, it's going to be the Charming Corset. Does not matter what class, it is the best in the game. This complaint is also more for the min/maxxers out there.

Small Enemies - redundant, uninspired, and frankly annoying.

NPC Interactions - lifeless. One thing that kinda urks me, is that there are NO consequences to anything you might inflict upon NPC's outside of Quest Givers. For instance, I can just ransack someones house if they have a chest, no problem. Throw them off a cliff? No problem. If you start to get attacked by the guards, you can just run away, and then when the aggro is gone, you can go right up to them all buddy-buddy. Kind of makes for some lifeless interactions and gameplay sometimes.

Fast Travel - from the first Dragons Dogma, I expected a similar amount of on foot travel comparitively. However, because this map is so huge, that almost becomes impossible. You can use an Oxcart to travel from one city to another in SOME cases. However, get attacked on the way, your cart gets destroyed? Guess it is back to foot racing for you. You can also use Ferrystones which act as a Fast Travel token, to travel to a Portcrystal on the map. However, there are ONLY 2 PORTCRYSTALS IN THE GAME, BOTH in the Beginning area of Vermund.

Later in the game, you can get your own portable Portcystals, but they are PRETTY RARE. Ferrystones? ALSO PRETTY RARE. A huge part of me thinks the developers added this in as to force players to explore more. However, at the expense of walking for a half-hour in real-life time to get to your destination in game? This is huge drawback, and greatly slows down progress in my opinion.

Quests - no indications. You want to know who has a quest for you? You either have to talk to every (lifeless) NPC in that location and hope that one of them has a quest for you. Sometimes, you have to interpret for yourself if there is a potential quest the NPC is hinting at, and then pursue it from there. Alternatively, you can look up a list of the quests online for which area and NPC has that quest for you. This can suck, as you could potentially miss a lot of the side quests the game has to offer, especially before beating the game. And sadly, some of the quests are bugged i.e. Red Coral Snakes quest. Definitely could use some polish on the Quests when it comes to Indications.

Bugs/Crashes - occasionally, there will be bugs, and there will be crashes (hur-dur, boowomp)

Alas, despite these gripes, I want to admit that I did thoroughly enjoy the experience for what it was. The developers are making constant updates, and a lot of what I complained about, could potentially be fixed in the future, making this game go from a 4-star to a 5-star. Plus, if you are a Dragons Dogma fan, then you absolutely WILL love this game, no doubt.

If you are a fan of The Witcher Book Series or Franchise as a whole, this is a nice experience that puts you into the setting of Geralt and the world he is in. The story-line is interesting in most aspects, and you really are compelled to make the best choices. Throughout each interaction - Reputation, Social Class, Wealth and Charisma all have an effect on whether or not Geralt will be able to do certain things or not, making this game certainly re-playable. The most difficult part to this game is that some questing mechanics that either make quests impossible to finish (either because you missed it or missed a sequence in a quest-line) or a pain to finish (go collect x number y, now go do it again, and again, etc.). As well, I will get the occasional crash from my computer desktop and sometimes the monsters will glitch out and infinitely kill you. Overall it definitely has the markings of an old classic open world type game, but if you do enjoy the Witcher, it is not bad.
6.5/10

Like - Nice and Smooth Gun varieties, animations as well as shooting mechanics. The way it sways, matched by how accurate your bullets are is a very nice. The different effects that are attached to the characteristic of some guns, as well as the descriptions being funny or quirky, adding a final and graceful touch. The quests are interesting and engaging as well as the NPC Interactions which as an added plus, actually have some character development. The Story brings the main plot or enemy of the game together in beautiful synchrony.
Dislikes - Graphics are decent, and the animated style of the world is unique, not the most appealing to 'me' personally, but it is nice to have some uniqueness. There are slight glitches in the game that can be annoying or irritating at some points. For example, driving in the dune buggy, whether it be rough terrain or a random pebble on the ground, sometimes you do not know where your buggy will go. The last thing I have to say is that the guns are nice, however, they can get a bit boring over time, having the same names or the same effects.

Overall, I would Rate this game a solid 9/10

This game is easy to comprehend, and easy to think about. It's carrying out orders the way you think it will, that makes this game hard to play. This is why i really recommend this game for people looking for a challenge.
