As of current state of the game (Still in early access), I will give a thumb down. (June 2018)
It is a fun game. You manage a spaceship, being a pirate, a merchant, or a traveler. You can attack civilian ships and other pirates, being the guy who does not miss the chance to rob someone; or trade, being the richest ship in the universe; or travel, being a pacifist who spends time traveling before the end of time; or combine the roles as you see fit. You have to manage the fuel and food early game, saving credits to retrofit or upgrade the ship as soon as possible.
You might ask why the thumb down then? Here is the reason:
Game bugs and crashes. I cannot play more than 10 mins for the first 2 hours. It mostly crashes when you start a spaceship fight. It can also crash when you start or during a dungeon mission. You can be stuck on certain part of a map, the enemy can be stuck on certain part of the map, and the gun firing sound changes when you move the character or when the enemy moves…
Another minor reason is combat. I mainly play pirate to experience combat. Ship combat is fine and sometimes fun. What I really do not like is crews to NPC gun fight. The animation is dull. At certain point, you just wish there is a fast-forward button to finish each fight.
Judging by the updates section, the dev constantly updates the game. I will happily give a thumb up once the crashing problem is fixed.

It seems like an easy game, but it is not easy at all. Completing the tutorial can be a struggle. For 5 mins, I cannot get past 7s, then 17s, then 25s, then 33s. For ppl go for 100% achievement, play the first level WITHOUT playing the tutorial (You will get an achievement for that. If you missed that achievement, you will have to reset the game, meaning all your achievements, both in-game and on Steam, and leaderboard score will be wiped clean)

First few encounters are always hard because you use the default deck. After you get the desired loot, the game becomes quite easy. The card draw depends on RNG. 1 bad run can reset your progress. 1 lucky run allows you to defeat a boss without losing health. Also, do not use your or your friends’ names on the dungeoneer. They will end up in the “graveyard” to display forever... It is challenging but also fun.

Cannot believe they combined farming simulator 2024 and casino simulator in 1 game

Short 3 hrs gameplay and it is repetitive. This DLC tries to tell the event right before the invasion started or what triggered the invasion. We can see more Nico in action before he turned into sleepwalker in the main game. However, the story (the sleepwalker cure) and technology (2 new human weapons and all the Alien weapons, as well as all the backpacks, are not available at the start of the main game) does not connect to the main game at all. Defiantly not worth CDN$5.49. Grab it when it is on sale if you want to get 100% achievement. The achievements are all easy to get. The three hidden achievements are just DLC mission progress achievement, no need to do anything specific.

A well-designed logic puzzle game with nice soundtracks. Time Attack can be very challenging, depending on your RNG. I need a new brain for this game.

This game can be fun and satisfying once you know what you should do and how you can do it. Of course, a lot of time must be invested outside of the game to watch a YouTube tutorial or go on wiki. If you only rely on the in-game tutorial, this might happen: I played for 2 hours and spent 1 hour just trying to find rock tiles to mine and tunnel.

It is a game with 60 short puzzles in 30 small areas. You can finish the whole game and get 100% achievement in less than 4 hours. Controller is recommended as stated in the game. The keyboard and mouse controls are not that user-friendly. It is okay on the normal level. It becomes horrible on the Nightmare level because of the small time window between each action.

I got kicked down by cloaker.
Teammate 2 tried to inspire me.
Teammate 2 got kicked down by the same cloaker.
Teammate 3 tried to rescue Teammate 2.
Teammate 3 got kicked down by the same cloaker.
Bot decided to stay in the safe spot and watched all of us go into custody.
Bot of the year goes to Sydney!

Would definitely rely on bot again. 10/10
