I am chained to this game. My dreams are in EU4. When my friends ask me what game I've been playing lately? It's EU4. The whole Russo-Ukrainian war going on right now? The protests in Iran right now? It's a Russian War of Imperialism. It's a Peasants Rebel Uprising in Tehran. I never once imagined I'd be spending my free time as an adult staring at a map when I was a child.

This game has taught me so much: the history, the geography, the ancient alliances, and monuments. I'm forever indebted to it and therefore forever trapped in this bittersweet hell of chasing the ever-increasing achievements.

This is unfortunately my favorite game. When people ask if I recommend it, I respond "Well, I have over 1100 hours in this game. I guess I would have to. Just a warning, though, it takes no less than 5000 hours to 100% this game."

I'm here for the long run. It went from 50 hours to 100, to 200, to 400, to 800, now to almost 1200, and there's so much more to go. If you want to embrace the elder god that is Paradox Interactive and sell your immortal soul to them like I did, I wholeheartedly recommend this ring of hell that is a game.
