Early Access Review
Really enjoying this game as an early access world, recommend if you like exploration and survival type games. Nothing has felt particularly tedious, the balance on what you need vs what you want is pretty good. You end up spending more time gathering resources not because it is required, but because you've got a project you want to complete. There are a few quirks, but I assume with a great game foundation like this, the devs will continue to polish and add content/refinements.

The graphic style is brilliant in my opinion. They've blended a modern graphic look with old style pixelated textures and it just really works for the content and presentation. I am assuming a few things will still be refined as I wouldn't mind a bit more variety on the character skins and I think it would be really fun to have some different style texture options to blend in/mod.

Do you like drinking nectar, smashing up demonic hordes, and gathering up underworld riches while jamming out to a fantastic soundtrack? Of course you do. Weave in developing relationships with Chthonic Gods, Olympians, and Greek heroes as a fun story unfolds and you have a brilliant rogue-lite adventure with a colorful story. So buy this game already - Supergiant does not disappoint!

This game is simply lovely. The music is hauntingly catchy, the graphic style is perfect for the genre, and the play control is solid.

The whole game takes some simple concepts and weaves them in to a hybrid game that offers hours of enjoyment.
You are descending a dungeon, collecting items and slaying monsters along the way. The catch is, you're doing this to the rhythm of the dungeon. Learning how each monster moves and attacks is simple enough - however making the right movement choices while you're under the threat of missing a beat is not always so easy. This keeps the game fast paced and engaging.

True to roguelike form, the game has tons of little things that keep it interesting, spells, items, secret shops etc. allowing for many viable strategies for your dungeon delve. Once you master the game, you can unlock more characters to play as, each one with a unique attribute that will change how you play the game. I'm sure I will continue to play this for well over 100 hours. Easily one of my best purchases on Steam, bang for buck.

The developer updates have been constant and excellent. So no fear of this getting abandoned anytime soon.

A quick jaunt throught history of gaming! This is basically a playable timeline of computer games (mostly focused on RPG's, but with cameos from games outside the RPG genre) that highlights the trends and breakthroughs in different "eras" of games. The majority of the game most cloesly resembles a mix of Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda as you battle through enemies to defeat the ultimate baddie!

The humor and presentation is cheeky and simple - there is nothing new here, but of course that is the whole point. The nostalgia value alone makes this worth a playtrhough if you enjoyed various RPG's since the 80's.
