The best CNC game. If you want an RTS to keep you entertained with a minimal learning curve, this is a good one. Be warned, however, the multiplayer on this game was handled by Gamespy so playing online is more difficult now than it used to be, but perfectly playable.

I'll recommend it as soon as Take 2 allows modding with OpenIV again :)

Honestly, probably the best game ever made.
This game was released two weeks or so after GTA: SA, look at the difference in terms of physics, graphics and the game overall (do bear in mind one's an FPS, one's open world). The Source engine was so far ahead of its time, and honestly it still is. 12 years later, this could be easily mistaken for a modern game.

What other games can you do that with?

MAKE IT HAPPEN VALVE

I was talking to some people over IRC when one of the people sends a link to this game. As soon as we saw Trabants, we all bought it immediately.

This game has serious potential. There aren't really any other games around like this, and that's partly why we bought it so quickly. In its current state it is pretty buggy but it is still absolutely playable and enjoyable.

If you like crappy cars, fixing cars, driving cars and free roaming, then this game is for you. You won't regret buying it.

If someone put a gun to my head and gave me the choice of either playing this game or eating cyanide, I would eat the cyanide.

For a game that's nearly 10 years old, it runs remarkably well on all modern OSes, is visually quite stunning and is very realistic. Even if you get bored with the game after having flown all the base planes, there is a very large modding community out there and they are bound to keep you entertained for hours.

Amazing game, will never get old. Probably better than both CS:S and GO because of the price and they're all basically the exact same thing.
