Okay so I've watched a few hours of h20delirious playing this and I expected much rage. But I ended up finding it quite exciting and calming at the same time. I've played less than 15 minutes at the time of writing this and I've made it up to those boxes in the sky above the slide but the stress became too much and I've put it down for now. Hahaha, if you're patient and take your time, I think it could be taken as a small therapeutic dose than something you sink hours of anger in to.

I'm so happy. Will update review in the future.

As for game length if you're curious. Just over 3 hours for the first episode if you spend a bit of time exploring which I love to do.

Everything started out so inoccent.
Now I know how Batman feels. Maybe not on the parents side, but this is the closest I've felt to losing a loved one in my life so far. I can not recommend this enough. I'm still crying from all the mistakes I made. I made all my choices carefully, I was cautious and I still ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up.

"You can not change the past but you can work towards the future"

This story single handedly changed me from a wise-cracking detective with a heart of gold simply looking for love with a paper girl called Origami into a hateful, spiteful, Batman-like figure hellbent on revenge. And on a level of real emotions and passion, these choices were made with those in mind. I feel this pain, I'm griefing the losses and my mistakes and I just know, when part 2 comes out, I'm going to make many more terrible choices in anger and grief. Here's looking at you Crook. We'll ♥♥♥♥ Manipulator up, screw everything else.

Here's where I'll take someone elses review format (griffit8 to be precise) and put in my own opinions.

(+) It is EXTREMELY well written. Very long if you consider the amount of hours you'll get out of it with a quite bountiful study system and skill variety that quite clearly affect the outcome of your actions.
Protip, don't try to be a jack of all trades or you're gonna have a bad time. You know what, do do that, it's a part of the experience to play as yourself.

(+) All of the characters are extremely memorable and unique archetypes.
The best part is your choices of what you say will generally always coincide with their personalities and elicit a response in regard. The great thing about this is you will actually make friends and '?a love interest?' to match your personality.

(+) The character customization is nice and is done over quite a few pages and kinda never really ends as you evolve tiny amounts throughout the story.

(+) So much romance, so little time. I ended up alone, simply for making the wrong choices no matter how right they seemed, but it never felt detached and it always flowed perfectly.

(+) The Price is amazing for such a well developed story. I would easily pay $15 for this.

(-) I would also mention the story being incomplete but as mentioned, it is a trilogy with part 2 currently being worked on. I love this story and can't wait, but 2017 is a big wait at this point.

(-) This isn't really a ♥♥♥ of the game, just a ♥♥♥ in general because you made me really sad with the ending I got, BOO HOO!

If I haven't already said it a hundred million times. If you love a good story, like to read, like to choose your own adventure, love plenty of choice options, a bit of romance and making plenty of terrible choices that will affect and reverberate the entire outcome of the world around you then getting this is a no-brainer!

If you do read this, I would really appreciate a text document of all the characters personalites and appearances presented in the story. I'd go through it myself but I can't bring myself to read the story again at this moment, I'm still really shaken up.
I'd like to use them for reference for some fanart I'd love to do. Consider me a part of this universes fandom! A self-insert addition would also be my wise-cracking, cautious but do all you can for your friends even at the cost of your life, studious but terrible at physical activities detective in a trenchcoat, Dusk, I really feel like he was a part of the story too.

It's fun, but it only takes about 30 minutes to beat the whole game and unlock all power ups.

I'm feeling so much grief right now. I loved my robot daughter (Abbey) and wife (Bee) so much. It's... heartwrenching that it's over, but I'm glad I experienced this and at least got to spend a happy life with them.

I would recommend it just for the price. It's a fun game but I would class it as a timewaster that doesn't have much replay value or depth aside from a hefty amount of unlocks from new colour schemes to animated characters that offer slightly different starting abilities, that's the aspect I liked.

Good music, but forgettable for my taste. Great sound too.

The levels work in a progressive difficulty, as can be expected from such a game, take it fast, take it slow, it's your choice, but as you get further, the game won't let you just stand around.

Weapon variety is decent, basically everything you'd need for most people's interests, I was a fan of the laser. Just a big beam that destroys everything.

Can't really complain though, this game is probably as good as it can be, what more could they really add or do aside from more powers and such? It's a timewaster but a good one.

The experiences in this game absolutely changed my life. My outlook on everything and I really felt the pain everyone went through. Truly an enlightening and incredible experience. I just can't believe that it's over, I don't want to believe it.

An absolute masterwork of a story.

I've got two free copies if anyone wants.

A game with real consequences, permanent death and no save scumming. Seriously, the game determines all outcomes for a turn before you make it to prevent you reloading a save to try to hit again, so you will always miss. The numbers are randomized each move you make though and there is an option before starting a game to turn save scumming on to randomize every time you reload but I don't recommend that.

If you turn on Ironman mode then the game also saves periodically and prevents you from doing so so all your choices matter and will be carefully reflected upon, this I also recommend!

Don't let my hours fool you, I've spent at least 200 hours on this game but on disc before I had the chance to get it on steam. Definitely absolutely one of my favourite games and game types, not enough games like this that are as well and expertly made. Very keen and optimistic for Xcom 2 which comes out very very soon!
