what's there to say about this game that hasn't already been said? i dunno, but I do want to get it out anyway. it has some of the best gameplay for a modern first person shooter, that's nice I guess. But there seems to be a formula for why this game has been absolute dogwater for the past 1.5 years.

Managers, investors and executives make a bad decision on how the game should be > Developers implement it > Players don't like it > Company loses profit and trust > Developers get blamed and then fired > Repeat

That's not to say developers are completely blameless (the whole Titan class meta, Gambit), but this is basically what happens when business execs who don't even play the game and are completely out of touch with the player base make decisions on how the game should be, and over work their employees to push out things fast to make deadlines, spread their resources thinly and lay off their most talented, all so they can brag about record high quarterly profits instead of building community trust and Longevity. Don't play this game, don't buy DLC, don't buy silver.

>get separated because everyone is an idiot

>stick together
>get sandwiched and put through the grinder by three other teams

Its, At best OK, it was fun, and every planet WAS somewhat unique, i found a rat-headed t-rex, which was funny, but after i found out just how much this game was missing, well, it shook me. It IS a fun game, but if you are looking for what is in the trailers and in the E3 presintation, you should probably look somewhere for another game. Hears a list of missing crap in this game that was promised.

-Multiplayer
Was promised then suddenly, Sean murry took to twitter before release that there was no multiplayer. not to mention the 2 streamers "meeting eachother" live, turns out, they couldent see eachother, there was no multiplayer.

-Faction wars
The showed 2 or more factions fighing each other with many ships shooting at eachother, but i never saw this in the 10+ systems, or haven't seen real footage with a youtuber or whatever.

-Diverse and complex fauna.
Nope, in the trailer the showed a planet known as "ORIA V," which is possibly the most famous planet in the game, it featured Large dinosaurs, things eating each other, complex AI, but i have yet to see this in the game, I have only had about 5 different creatures on screen, none of them interacting with each other.

-Unique ships
The ships are basically all the same, execpt for size and slots.

-Destruction of space stations and large ships.
Space station cant be destroyed, nuff said.



Stuff the showed as gameplay, and other stuff that was not said directly, that are not in the game are:

Frigate and other huge ships hovering above the surface of a planet.

The way your ship moves, in the trailer, it moves so much faster, and its weapons fire faster.

Though all these are not in the game, Atleast it has a good soundtrack, and an infinte amount of planets...

CONCLUSION
As i said before, its fun but i dont recommend to the average person, this game is pretty niche too, only a handful of people will play more than 120 hrs.
