I cant believe Palpatine returned 7/10
If the bird A.i worked this would be a 8 or 9/10, they make alot of the trials just unfun and rng based

after deciding to play warrior for a playthrough. walking into literally any area and getting into a fight just spawns a mercenary, then another, then another, then another each one going up in level. just straight up not fun to play, sneaking in this AC game is boring as hell and fighting is just a cycle of running away or camping a tower. just not worthwhile or enjoyable to grind or play

Looks good, the district and cities are fun to play with and the events and cutscenes are very cool. outside of that however warfare is literally the worst, Ai will spam one OP unit and play in a insanely unfun way, they will completely game ruin themselves just to build a lot of units and proceed to sit on highground with them for the whole game. attacking is sometimes just impossible with how units work and with the fact the military Ui is the literally the worst in any strategy game, the bar to show power is complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and the only way to know what will happen or what your facing is to attack. save scumming is 100% mandatory. half the things you can do are pointless, faith and influence only matter for a small amount of time, military and money buildings simply being a better investment. the Ai can and will attack you when your not at war, even if you have just made peace and are in your own land, the AI clearly knows everything and will always postiition in such a way that it will never be at a disadvantage, even if it cant see your troops. the game and its approach are fun and interesting but the Ai and military parts of the game feel like they are in a alpha state, if you fall behind for an era or two because of how the era mechanics works mean you will not catch back up, the game features no catchup mechanics and military means are required for a third of the ways to earn era score making the game just unfun to play. oh and ranged units are just superior in everyway and not picking a military civ, or just wanting to play peacefully is not an option, the only good way to play is by abusing the Ai, hills and spamming unique units with ranged support. Overall 4/10 and without a complete rework i doubt i would play it again, easy difficulties being the only fun ones while harder ones are just a save scum fest, Civilization 6 on harder difficullties is just a more fun game

Good game its a bit of a challenge The only real problem i had was the vampire disease is terrible because actully getting the vampires to do what you want is a bit annoying at times but otherwise a good game
