What can I say, expected child of 7 Days to Die and Conan Exiles, apparently baby was aborted mid term. Game has a lot of mechanics, looting, building, trapping, resource farming, crafting, leveling, AI NPC followers and more. The issue is that none of this is polished, everything is junky, animations are joke, voice acting seems like done by devs, melee fighting is from realm of "don't bother" because it never hits where you looking at, leveling don't mean much at all, quests are annoying, the way currency is handled is simply garbage (there is no reason for gold to exist in so many different variants of size). And I can keep going and going. For now it's just another asset flip not worth the money (and probably never will, based of frequency of updates)

You just unlocked a satisfactory modeler tool, and with it, Pioneers no longer have to rely on countless Google Sheets constructing formulas to calculate efficient factory builds. FICSIT is happy with your contribution, Pioneer David, very well done. Please continue to work on this tool or FICSIT Inc. will terminate you.

Dear diary. It has been 3852 years since I'm drifting into the void of a milky way. I decided to travel between planets but forgot to take an extra fuel with me. My mecha does not have energy to even turn one degree... According to dashboard calculations I will land on fully oceanic planet in 95329 years from now. The agony of realisation that my thrusters will not be able to operate without fuel, perishing me within oceanic waters will never sink in. But until then, there is still hope that I will be sucked in by some planet gravitation pull...

This game is insane with end game being your CPU reaching 100% utilization, unless, you upgrade you CPU to continue the game. You start on a single planet, gradually realizing that the universe is so big that you will never be able to explore it fully. This is pure gold for those who like automation games with progression. The fact that each resource is not infinite forces you to explore the galaxy and build intergalactic transportation hubs that will transfer resources between solar systems. Don't get me started on how well this game is optimized, even with hundreds of thousands factories and logistics there somehow still capacity for game to calculate the AI that will attack you (optional) based on how much you grow and items you produce.

The animations and graphics worth a separate reward, they are so well detailed that I can just sit and watch how rail ejectors shoots solar sails that you can later see in person if you fly off the planet. A piece of art indeed.

Don't get misled by positive reviews if you are looking for automation type of a game, because it's not.

I have about 40 hours in this game, probably 25 hours if not more I spent running back and forth to a shop buying pipes and repair kits. You have to physically grab every single piece of pipe or item from the store and walk with it to tractor (assuming you parked on sale point). Alternatively, you can get a wooden cart and just spam items on top of it and as soon as they will settle down in the cart they will lose collision, basically allowing you to slowly but surely stack hundreds of pipes onto the cart on the same spot. But the fact that you have to find the ways to cheese the purchase from store in order to save time is insane.

On the gameplay side, you technically don't have to progress further than tier 2, because on tier 2 you can mine corestone - end game resource. That's it... Game completed. You can also make a farm to grow crops from which you can create a soup, but there is no way to fully automate farming so you have to manually run like around constantly collecting and then planting everything one by one over and over again.

There are also quests in the game for two factions: miners and farmers, each will give you unique tokens helping you to progress into the end game. Mining is okay, but farming is so much grind to get anywhere that you probably will skip that unless you are part of 1% tryhard players (according to Steam achievements).

Buy this game if you want to mindlessly spend your time, but, if you are looking into sandbox with automation that actually feels rewarding with "visible" progression then I suggest to look elsewhere. There is nothing more pleasing in sandbox games with automation than to see you factory/farm or whatever grow before your eyes, first by you putting in lots of effort and then watching that effort pay off because everything is automated. This game makes you constantly work, check filters health, replant crops, etc. and you can never just stand and admire your beautiful creation that just "works".

There are mods in the game that can help you a little bit with annoyances, however, according to comments on each of them, they tend to break every other update so I did not installed them.

It's been month since I did't launch the game, I'm scared that I will go back to it, the therapy using similar type of games does not seem to help. I have 127 hours of pure gameplay since I run local server, server save-file was 800+ hours last time I checked.

I thought building a highway like on 2nd screenshot across whole map is a good idea, until I lost 30 hours finishing only 5%. Trying to find all data disks was funny, until I met max level jumping bugs that jumpSCARE the ♥♥♥♥ out of you and your jet-pack mean nothing to the.

Damn it's a good game, but it will take your life away from you.

Launched v1.0 just to test whats new, ended up starting new save and clocking +100 hrs. to a counter...

A Steam Product code you activated has been removed from your account. May, 2019: "Restaurant Manager".

I wonder what is on the dev's mind that he decided to remove licenses from everyone on the game he released in 2018. The game itself is worse than most default unity free templates.

Dev probably did not hear about Steam return policy or dreaming to beat "The Day Before" in terms of most negative reviews on the game this century with his placeholder game (that even though looks like poo-poo still most likely using stolen assets.

Timeline of scam
  • Release announced from early access to Full 1.0 version apparently fixing all bugs and announcing the game "final" state. With that, announced price tag increase 500%.
  • Removing pre-1.0 version of the game from all console stores.
  • Added new "final" state of the game to console stores, so you had bough the game before? Now buy it again overpriced or stay forever on old version.
  • Players will realized that nothing have changed from Alpha 22 on full release and the bugs from 1986 are still in the game.
  • Game announced "experimental" branch before even releasing from early access.
  • In the end, all the "final" release hype is just for marketing purposes and nothing really is final, same early access would continue under experimental branch of the game till all humanity dies from an actual zombie apocalypse IRL.

At this point there is only hope that our grandchildren would be able to play this with at least 5 more fps while the horde attacks.

I played 230 hours at the times when there was none of that battlepass and DLC bullcrap, I stopped playing when the game became always online (soon after DLC release). What the ??? happened to this game since then...

You don't need to go in any dungeon anymore, just farm the croc near spawnzone to get all the legendaries. You don't need to get winter gear, learn to craft explosives and survive in snow biome to get start metal, just kill the mobs in starting location.
You don't need to climbe freezing mountains to then survive the harshest volcano that melts you if you didn't come prepared so you can fight your way through the dungeon to the only furnace that can melt obsidian because now it also drops from npc in the starting zone.
Don't even get me started on XP balance, you get 150XP for human who can send you back sleeping on a bedroll with one combo, and 13k for some skeleton who lags after first attack and just standing there watching you annihilate him.
Animal thralls are completely useless, the only npc's that animal thralls can now kill before they get got are passive horses.
Human thralls can tank at least few hits, but they are so dumb that I would rather have passive gorilla following me for entertainment.

I played 20 hours last battle pass, I enjoyed probably 1 hour and the rest I was trying to figure out what is going on and tried my best to go over all content hoping that it will get better. It won't. And with this new battle pass you can't even move items in the inventory without something ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ up, when you spawn in you stuck in the foundation so you have to remove it and build back just to play the stupid game. All bosses have so low hp that you can solo them while watching hot tub streams on other monitor that surprisingly have more moving parts that this entire game now does.

One of the most popular mods in the workshop is "Age of ♥♥♥♥♥♥", I guess that's all that this game comes down to nowadays.

If I could go back in time and have only two options: play this game for 8 hours for free or work at my job for 8 hours for free, I would choose the second option.
