very cool, worth your time if you like the genre of games

I am redoing my review. I like the game a lot. But I believe it misses out on a lot of nuance when it comes to patriotism whereas stricted guncontrol always will be negative for said group. However, I would say that in most countries patriots don't necessarily want guns. This is just one example of how the games mechanics are very centred around the US:s political climate. I'd suggest changes that diversify how different specific policies affect different groups. The same thing can be found in how a more capitalist system is assumed to be more cost effective, whereas in reality they usually end up costing more in the long run (just look at the healthcare system in the US right now and you'll see my point). If these things are changed, i'd say we have a perfect politics simulator right here :D


I do however like the game but I wouldn't necessarily recommend it for just anyone.

I recently got rimworld and it is truly the best game I have ever played. It has the aestetic of Prison Architect but contains more features, more content and a very different yet more enjoyable gameplay. It has infinite replayability and has a huge modding community that might make the game stay interesting once you´re tired of the vanilla game. I do also play the FPS game Planetside 2 quite a lot and it has been my main game for quite a while, and even though that is an FPS game and Rimworld is more of an RTS, base building, resourcemanagement game, as far away from an FPS title as you could get, it still is a lot more fun than any FPS game I have ever played. So if you like resource management or FPS games, try out RImworld and I can almost guarantee that you will be positively impressed.... Remember to use a timer to manage your playtime though... The addicitveness of this game is not to be understated... 11/10 will never stop playing please help me my grades will drop, fuuuuuuuu.....
