The developers behing this "game" abandoned and shut down their previous game, a sandbox MMO called pixel worlds.

Im calling it a "game" because this is literally a wannabe nft simulator with a gameplay loop that will put you to sleep faster than listening to modern music industry.

So what exactly is the gameplay loop? Enter a portal -> Play a minigame -> Earn Coins -> Open Lootboxes and that's it; there is nothing more to it. Just gambling for kids (with also an option to buy lootboxes with premium currency, WOW!)

Creation wise pixel worlds had an actual decent (yet "borrowed" from growtopia) building and seed splicing systems. What does Nexus Station have? Bootleg mario maker. No in-world editing, no breaking blocks. Nada. Just a world editor that doesn't feel right.

With the monetization on top it looks like EA finally has some good competition; 20$ for a banana skin. And the best part, the "game" feels like it didn't even came out of proper "alpha".

bro finally finished cooking

This game is really neat if you are a fan of building and decorating things. It can be grindy but there are lots of nice travellers in the nexus willing to give you some units if you are new. Perfect example of an redemption arc. 10/10
