I personally feel this game ran perfect for a day 1 Early Access title. I am not sure why everyone is so impatient with it. Yes the game is laggy and virtually unplayable. Yes I only managed to get to level 2 with the rubber-banding back and forth. Yes they "reskinned" ARK.

No, you should not be surprised by any of these things (except maybe for the correct spelling of "skinned"). It is day 1 and it should be expected that there are hiccups, both big and small within the game. I was surprised when the devs pushed back the release, but I am glad they saw there would be some issues and moved to resolve them before sending it out. I would however like to submit a complaint that I was pegged at 18fps (Normally 65+ in ARK) and reducing the graphics quality all the way down only gave me and average of 2fps better. That is ridiculous.

In regard to Atlas being basically the same game as ARK, my question for you is this: why in the ♥♥♥♥ would you write a whole new base game code and redo everything you've already done, when you can just build from the same pile of blocks? Yes there are major pieces of the game that are the same/similar (UI, Character Models, early craftables, etc.) but I don't see a problem with that. If it worked in the last one, why change it?

Please note, leaving a bad review because you were upset they pushed back the release makes you look like an impatient, entitled ♥♥♥♥. Leaving a bad review because a game in early access wasn't well optimized yet and still needs some work (hence "Early Access") just makes you look incompetent.
