Amazing game play with hours of fun out on the open ocean by yourself or with friends.

Fun game, I would like to see more options for customisation, and maybe the potential of having a wider range of parts for a ship, but its a good way to pass the time

I primarily play through the WG client and not on steam, but over the past 3 years I've seen this game move towards a direction of aggressive monetisation & an increasing amount of content behind loot box paywalls, for me to find this game or the content that is released for this game enjoyable... 5 years ago would I recommend new players into the game, yes completely, it was fun new engaging, but now its just like every other free game with loot box mechanics, if you want to enjoy yourself and not have to consider breaking the bank in the process, this is not the game for you, I would highly recommend anyone new to stay well away from the game until Wargaming fixes their act or pays the consequences!

(I thought my initial review may have been slightly harsh on the game) - plus when a Dev gets in touch its better than 90% of other games, not to mention some of the worst that ignore the community completely and not listen to any advice given to them.

That being said 100+ hours of fun in one game, has its intense moments when quite literally the sub can hit the fan, for a newcomer it may feel daunting getting into but its worth it, besides some small issues with the game (which I'm sure will be addressed in coming patches in the future). I'd always say research before you get, but its one you should look into

Surprised many of the bugs did not get picked up during testing, a poor DLC release on BI's part allowing such content to be released;

- Some uniforms are completely bugged and clip through the floor.
- Clipping issues with uniforms and vests.
- Cannot switch to certain secondary weapons.
- Gun sounds are weak.
- Bicycles feel as rigid and awkward as on Arma 2.
- Motorbikes have unrealistic handling.
- Old vehicles use default Arma 3 horn.
- Towns are extremely basic and scarcely populated with buildings.
- Some building textures are low quality.
- Random frame rate issues on Maps.
- Some vehicles have missing sounds...error will show when using vehicles.

Although the DLC adds a sizeable amount of new content, some assets fall below Bohemia's standards, which some may argue are already low enough. I don't blame the developers of this mod, as it is a really good community-made project, but I do blame Bohemia for allowing this to be paid-for DLC.

The community can be touch and go at times, some are fine but its the hackers who annoy me most, if people want to hack games to ruin someone else's experience then they really shouldn't be playing games at all
