Amazingly well polished, and the gameplay is great too!

Had a blast in the alpha, had a good bit of fun too with this version too. Multiplayer isn't too buggy, graphics are pleasing to the eye, and most of the gameplay mechanics are fun. However when you enter a new zone, it's like starting the game all over again.
Due to the random nature of the drops you get, you can either grind for hours and make zero progress, or kill one enemy to get a four or five star weapon, trivializing all other content in the zone.
It generally is fun, but with the above, and some enemies such as the mages being greatly over tuned, I can't really recommend the game. I would love to love it, but early game doesn't feel good, and every few hours or so you're thrust back into it. If given an option to have a similar progression system to the alpha six years ago, I would happily flip my review. I would love to explore more biomes, but alas, I don't have ten hours to grind in every zone.

Simple mechanics, cute art, challenging gameplay, and maybe even a little bit addicting!

I've played this game a little bit since it hit Steam, at least a couple of hours or so.

Great time sink, though I feel like it lacks depth, either way I've enjoyed it over the years.
