they finally put pokemon on steam!

every review says this game is halo with portals

and they're right

hella fun game so far with neat horror vibes!

reminds me of quake 1 with it's weapons and general aesthetic

great DLC, the difficulty finally feels similar to older versions of the game which makes it fun to play again <3

everything was good up until the final boss

I honestly wish I could give this a mixed review because of that fight lmao

it wasn't hard, but it was possibly the most tedious thing I've ever had to fight in a first person shooter, the entire encounter felt like an oddly paced quick time event

and the fact that any mistake (including shooting at the wrong time) caused it to regenerate half it's health made it 10x more annoying than it needed to be

honestly if the boss healing mechanic was nerfed or removed it could've been tolerable

half the DLC's were subpar due to gearbox underpaying their employees

now they're releasing another season pass where they will probably just throw out more low quality crap

i got this as a gift and i still feel ripped off


the fact that their pulling this stuff gives me the vibe that giving into epic didn't make them as much money as they hoped lmao

my favourite halo game, it introduced infection which is my fav multiplayer mode

the campaigns also pretty good

I have noticed some latency with the controls when playing coop campaign so I just plugged in a controller which made it less noticeable

from the first few minutes you can tell this DLC was in production right after gearbox decided to p1ss off their employees

playing through the introduction pacing seems very off, dialogue is constantly interrupted/cuts out and it becomes apparent that this DLC will be riddled with re-skins and reused assets to make it appear different

if my opinion changes after completing this expansion I will update this review, but from first impressions this seems extremely underwhelming

reminds me of the 1982 remake of the thing mixed with trouble in terrorist town! hella cool concept that's fun with frens <3
