Edit after half a year and many updates.

If you like "general simulators" with focus on battle, this is a good game to try.
But if you are looking for a normal 4x experience i would probably look elsewhere.
Game is fantastic over all, but will hopefully continue to improve!

Random Map Generator is great, but still needs more work.
AI improvements are great, could still be smarter (especially a harder difficulty would be welcome).

A pleasant rougelike deck-builder experience!

RTS doesn't really make sense as this game allows you to pause at will, it is however a fun experience and a nice variant of the base defender genre. The campaign still has some rough spots, but that is mostly in the sense of story and hero missions. The core gameplay is really addicting!

Ever played KoL but found the adventures/day-system a bit tedious? Well here you go! Journey out into the west and write your legacy in black 'n white while listening to some superb music.

A good game with uniqe aesthetic design.
