Awesome simulator. Had a lot of fun with it. It's clear the devs of this game love this project. Can't wait to see where this awesome project is going in the future.

Love the game. Wanted to have the experience of managing a nuclear reactor, so I search for a game about it and found this gem. The negative reviews are just from people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about a payed DLC which isn't really that expensive. The developer has to eat food too. If they keep adding content and developing the game I'll happily purchase every DLCs they release.

The game is very well made. I loved trying to figure out the patterns in the different languages. I want a chants of sennaar 2, this was so much fun.

Seems the games as some poor performances for some people. I personally have no problem with it with my pc configuration. But I do have very good specs. I see lots of people saying they have a very good gpu and don't understand why the game runs poorly, but that's the kind of game where CPU power is very important since it does so much in the background. Also, that game don't need 60fps. It's not a shooter where reaction time is important. 30FPS is more than enough for you to enjoy it without it lagging.

Anyways, I understand people's frustration about it but the game is great. I'm happy they decided to release it so that those that have the required specs can play it right away. I don't have any doubt that they are working very hard right now to fix performances. If you aren't sure about your specs, wait a bit for updates on performance which will be there soon.

Awesome! Love the new UI, tutorial and everything! Can't wait for the science, interstellar and colony building!
Didn't have any performance issue like some others. But I am way above the recommended specs.
If you have something similar to me it will work flawlessly : Ryzen 7 3.5Ghz, 32Gb RAM, RTX 4070 TI.

Love it! The interface is magnitudes more intuitive than the previous version! I love the new art. Can't wait to try adventure mode when it comes out. :D

The game was fun. For the price you get 4 hours of gameplay which isn't bad. It's disappointing since the game in itself was fun but there wasn't enough content. I think they should think about implementing randomly generated missions.

The serie of missions that was the most fun was the construction one. Where you have to wire all the house on a construction site. (Would have been even better if we started the wiring process before the walls are put on). I would have liked to have more jobs like those.

The sockets seem to be european style. I don't know about that standard since I'm used to north american ones. I would like it if there was an option to chose between those styles. Another thing the game would benefit in having, in my opinion, is having to chose the voltage of the breaker switch. For example, adding a 240V socket for the oven or heating system.

*SPOILER ALERT*

Another critique I have is the tone of the game. It's very joke-like. You have to remove the light on a house that belongs to a vampire. Another mission you have to disconnect the lamp of the neighbour that is stealing the power. etc. Event the construction job is a bit stupid since you are called because the contractor forgot about electricity, which is pretty stupid. I would have like for the game to be more serious. Like you are an electrician doing his job of wiring new circuit for new houses for example.

Overall, I liked the game. For the price I paid it's worth it (was 20% off so about 16$CAD). So definitely buy it when it's on sale. 20$ is a bit much for the current content. I would have paid 40$ without a problem if there was more content and stuff to do.

Content missing that would make the game much better in my opinion
- More missions
- More gadgets to repair
- Breaker switch voltage choice
- More appliances (oven, microwave oven, toaster, heating, etc)
- More socket type (120 volt, 240 volt), 4 socket, etc)
- More switch type (Dimmers, timer, smart, etc, different styles)
- More box types (junctions, square, etc)
- North American sockets and colors (black for line, white for neutral, green for ground)
- More realism (In the game you can directly mount the lamp on the wall or ceiling, you should need to put an electrical box first, would be nice to do the wiring behind the lamps like we do with the sockets)
- A new construction mode where you wire a house in construction and are scored based on the electrical code (separate the circuits between rooms, heating, big appliances like oven, etc)
- Better indication on where to connect neutral, line and ground. In real life, sockets and switch have colored screws that indicate where to connect each. In america it's usually a green one for ground, silver one for neutral and brass one for line.

They brought back the story repairs that was in the first game! It might not seem like much. But having a fun story with the repair makes it more interesting for me. I like having a client that tells me they use their car to go fishing but when they put all their equipment in the trunk, the wheels are touching the frame. Ah! Then there's probably a problem with the suspension.

Or a client that tells me a thinga-ma-jig fell off and since then the car is swaying. It adds color to the game :)

There's also all the fun customization from the previous iterations and more. You can swap the engine for a different compatible one, customize the interior, add extra parts, etc. You can go fish parts or car wrecks from barns or the junkyard. There's a race track. There's a lot of customization and upgrades to make to the garage.

In my opinion, it's their best game! If you liked the previous iterations, you'll love this one. It you are a car entousiast and never tried a Car Mechanic Simulator game, buy this one for sure. Lots of different cars and engines and if you saw them all, there's all the DLCs they keep releasing with more cars.
