I haven't beaten it yet - but you know that feeling when you start a game and go 'Oh this is actually good'.
This has that.

Nothing like a good puzzle game to make me feel like an absolute Dumb Ass - but you have to respect it.

Was not expecting to have as good a time with this as I did coming back to it after all these years.
The opening of the game does start pretty dull and dry, however the longer you play the more you start to notice this fascinating, dynamic experience of an every changing in-game world. Sidequests will fail out of the blue because someone you were supposed to meet just happened to die on the other side of the map, but that doesn't really matter in the end, the sidequests are all irrelevant in the grand scheme.
What does matter - is the story, and the story IS the setting, this grim, sad world of dark wonder and painful fantasy.

I remember seeing this game at PAX 2016 and thinking "This game rules", not realizing at the time that this might actually be the best shooter I've ever played.

At the end of every stage it replays every attempt you made all at once - very cool.

This game absolutely ruled. I truly wish I could erase my memory and experience it all again.
