This is seriously fun. Many people criticize this game as a knockoff of Minecraft and Roblox, and the design is kind of. However, all similarities basically end there. As a player, you can form alliances with friends, battle zombies, interact with all sorts of vehicles, shoot with guns, build buildings, and way more. Definitely recommended for a sandbox lover like me.

Ok, so I haven't gotten many hours on this thing, But this game is pretty good. A variety of different wolves to battle ( I always hated the throwing knife ones,) good moves and plenty of combo moves. However, the standard controls for these games always makes my hand hurt (up,down,right,left arrow keys.). If the owners could just incorporate mouses into the game.. Also, there eventually becomes so much chaos throughout the game I start to wonder if this is actually intended for humans. Overall, this game is pretty good. I would recommend it if your a Karate game kind of guy.

Well, it's been a year long journey, and I thought I'd put my two cents into this game.


Firstly, what an interesting game. A FPS style that's unique with 9 different quirky and different characters, even with seperate personalities. The variety of weapons and cosmetics included in this game is almost overwhelming. With so many different loadout possiblities, TF2 can fit virtually anybody's play style. The game itself, as well as it's setting and mood, is competetive yet causal. Fun, action-packed maps provide a wealthy and challenging environment for a new player. Set in the rustic 60's in America, the theme of this game has, as Valve declared, much changed. So many new themes are being added, which of course provides variety compared to an old game that never changes and dies out of favor in the gaming industry.

This of course, is where I'll put my foot down.


Unfortuantely, this game, with all of it's quirks and corners to explore, has to be the single-handedly most hard game to compete with other players. Even Overwatch, with it's over 20 different classes to pick from, is more simple for those who understand the FPS, or even a video game in general, than TF2. Team Fortress 2 requires a player to use tact, and almost forces the new player to instantly gain new information. Sure you could go play pyro, the arguably most easy class to play, but what then?

While straying from the roots of a classic FPS game, TF2 insists that players adapt quickly to the game's overwhelming game style and quirkyness. Players get the hang of of it eventually, or at least they think. However, when a player is matched against another player who has more experience, the game starts to become unbalanced.

It would be unfair to claim that TF2 matches players unfairly, as in general, TF2 has a quite diverse amount of players of different experience. However, it is simply the gap between the good players and bad players that draws the less experienced off. Features like double jumping, crit-a-cola, and many more may become confusing to a player who has played COD for the last 3 years.

TF2, is also, unfortunately, a cold and unwelcoming community. As with other games, the community expectedly does not hold your hand and guide you to your kindergarten cubby. However, TF2's community is filled with toxicity and rage that simply puts newcomers off. Scams are prevelent, as with many in-game purchase games, and any wrong answer or questions seems to cause people to become murderously angered.

So, in conclusion, TF2 is simply a game for the hardcore gamer that is somehow well-educated in the confusing gameplay style, and not for the common avid gamer. While it can be addictive and fun, it is also confusing and even frusturating. I would try it, if you consider yourself to be a brilliant gamer of knowledge in tact.
