Game play wise it's good, just like the other SEs. However there are a lot of bugs and glitches that I found in just under 2 hour of playtime, some are game-breaking to the point where you can't play anymore and some are funny.

I find the game quite enjoyable but needs quite a lot of work to be done, from the huge delay of the game I'd say that the physics of the game is a bit buggy and the story is quite underwhelming. I really enjoy the Dying Light 1 instead of this since with the Dying Light 1 it has a bit more punch on the story as well as the horror- like gameplay that Dying Light 2 Lacks. One of the things differentiate the 2 games is the grappling hook, i found the old grappling hook way better. I also don't like how you can't scrap and repair your weapons in DL2 making all melee weapons one time use basically.

There are some bugs that I have found playing for 10 hours and there was more glitches that i found playing for an extra 20 hrs, Some are quite frustrating such as how for me the paraglider wouldn't deploy when pressing the z button after doing a dash jump and instead delaying for a couple of seconds losing some momentum, I also found a glitch that lets you clip in the buildings while doing tic tac and grappling hook. I don't really like the way they changed how spikes work, I find it weird how it doesn't clip enemies most of the times.

Only reason why I'm recommending this game is that I'm really looking forward to the DLCs that will come as it is quite intriguing to see where Aiden gets after the epilogue.

I would Say a good gameplay but after i played ranked matchmaking it's pretty much unfair.

But it's still fun to play with

Edit: After the newest patch it's kinda easier for competitive, rather than the old patches where getting xp is hard as hecc

1st thing to do in hard mode is:
Getting Killed by a Raptor/Carno/Allosaurus

2nd thing to do is:
Spawn in another area and get killed again

3rd thing to do is:
get out and change the difficulty

As a guy who bought this game i felt scammed, but the gameplay itself is good
7/10 would be 9/10 if it stays 3$
