I'm incredibly bias about the X series. It's one of my favourites of all time if not, my favourite. This game contains X5-8 and whilst I can't fully recommend a completionist playthrough like what i did, I thoroughly enjoyed doing so. I'd buy this for X8 alone. It's that good. It's unfortunate that the X collection is split into two games. I'm sure a lot of people aren't going to buy this just because X5-7. They're not perfect, X6-7 are far from it but, I enjoyed my time with them.

TLDR, I love X8, X5-7 are riddled with silly decisions but, still good in my eyes.

Just gonna come back to this so I can say it's a pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing that we're not going to receive the newer rereleases after purchasing this even though this has become completely de-listed. Is it even really that hard to just straight port the original games in a collection as opposed to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the original visuals, HUD, UI, etc? It's like a botched art restoration. Remnants of the original remain but we've been left with a husk of its former glorious status; and companies wonder why the populous resort to emulation nowadays.

FFVI is a great game dont get that wrong but I am pretty disappointed at the poor port. I can definitely recommend this game just, maybe not this version of it at least. If you're going to buy this version of the game I recommended modding it before playing to get nicer looking text and sprites. I really wish this game got the same treatment that FFIII and FFIV got for their remakes.

In summary, FFVI is great just, this version isn't the same as the original so keep that in mind.

This game is pretty radical. You should buy it.

Its very fun. Its very challenging but it never feels like its impossible to get far.

Its not bad. At least get BetterSADX after buying this game. Certainly not a great port but its still fun. Big's story isn't great but I certainly enjoyed the other stories gameplay wise at least.
