Great story and characters, atrocious combat.

The combat, secret weapons, equipment, unique levels, story twists, stock market and so much more keeps this game from ever getting boring. Don't be fooled by anything that tells you this game is bad, it's an FPS masterpiece.

I prefer the original Portal for various reasons but it's still a must-play for anyone who is even mildly interested in games.

Incredible combat, world and bosses. Besides the Monk Apparition, Demon of Hatred and the two apes there's no boss that's not great, in fact, most are as incredible as the two or three stand-out bosses people praise in every other Fromsoft game. The consistency, speed which you can get through the game with once you get good and the brilliance of the every aspect of the game's design make the game as replayable as any souls game, even with the limited customizability of your character, which is a huge achievement.

Well constructed world that encourages exploration and getting stronger to be able to enter new areas. The unique turn based combat is one of the best systems I've ever had the pleasure of experiencing. Personally I don't like the stories and I certainly don't enjoy being forced to spend so much time on them however I could see the stories appealing to other players and the various caves and optional quests you find along the way allow for breaks whenever you're too fatigued by the endless cutscenes and dialogue. I don't think it's worth it's price and I recommend waiting for a sale, personally I got it for 30€ which I consider worth it.
