Such a fun platformer. Tight controls, fun story, and characters I enjoyed. The game also hides some extra backstory with a few collectible items. The game has some really fun mechanics which allow you to approach the problem with a number of solutions. Play it.

I recommend playing with the camera settings to get something you're comfortable with. I played with a controller and turned off the auto birds eye view camera.

Early Access Review
Full disclosure: I've been looking forward to this game for a long time, and am very excited. Bias may be reflected in review.

Would recommend, play it forever.

Review time,
I love it. It's everything the devs said it would be, nothing more, nothing less. I'd say it is quite well done for an early early access game. The multiplayer seems to be fairly buggy, but I was still able to play for hours with a friend, having relatively few hiccups. A few crashes here or there.

One of my favourite things about the developers is that they are very realistic about their goals. They have expressed exactly what they want, and they're most definitely within reach of this early access release. They have some nice, ambitious side-goals, but aren't promising anything they don't know they can deliver.

Good stuff:
- pretty
- nice open world to explore
- "building" with dirt and stuff is really fun
- generally a lot of fun

Some bugs and meh stuff:
- Framerate isn't always consistent. Sometimes it runs very smooth, other times it lowers just enough to notice it.
- Multiplayer tends to crash semi-frequently as of writing this, but to be expected for a feature they decided to include fairly late.
- The game runs okay at 21:9, but at least the main menu UI is still rendered at 16:9, but increased in size to fit the screen, so you can't read the save game dates.
- Steam VR launches if you have that installed, even though this is not a VR game. You can fix this by removing the OpenVR folder in the game's files.

Wow. I had a lot of fun with this game. While a few times I felt like perhaps the game forgot what it was, a puzzle platformer, a shooter, something else, it still felt solid in the paths it chose. The mechanics and gunplay are fairly well done, and the story is intriguing.

I really really enjoy what Remedy has done with the story, you have very high quality in-game character models who represent their real-life actors for the three 20 minute episodes in the game. These episodes help break up the gameplay by allowing you to sit back and just watch for a minute. Not only this, but they provide an excellent way of showing you what other characters are doing while you are off shooting baddies and saving the world.

I'd give this a solid 8 or 8.5/10

Highly recommend. It's short, but extremely fun. The mechanics are good, and it has a fairly compelling story. The somewhat short length of the game, in addition to the changing environment, ensures the gameplay doesn't get repetitive.

Just started playing the game and I'm already interested in continuing. The mild exploration with an interesting story piques my interest and I hope to see it continue to do so.
