Worst game in the franchise, it also has always online DRM. Been trying to play this game on the Steam Deck, but if you get a slight drop in connection it kicks you out of the game. So if you purchase this game, you don't actually own it, your only renting it. As soon as Ubisoft turn off the servers in the future, the game will no longer work.

I've been playing the same mission over and over because the DRM constantly kicks me out. I've literally gave up..

Don't waste your money.. for the sake of preventing the 50 people who pirate computer games, (Who the hell pirates video games in this day and age with the price of PC Games and CD Keys websites?) the hundreds of thousands of us legitimate customers have to deal with a sub par product and be penalised.

Always online junk.. steer clear..

Works great on the Steam Deck, seen on the Ubisoft discussion forums that people can't get past 70% of the game due to an update and constant crashes. So instead of buying the Ultimate edition, I bought the Standard edition to be safe and if I can get past 70% of the standard game will buy the Season passes. It's not worth taking the chance..

I own every Battlefield Game apart from 2042. I originally played the Beta for 2042 through Origin.

RIP Battlefield. The Franchise has lost the fire that has made the franchise so successful in the past.

I think the developers are clueless and don't even know what has made their games so addictive in the past.

Instead of creating what the Battlefield Veterans want, they have instead looked to the market at other successful titles such as Call of Duty and Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege, and said "We want to be like them."

So that is what we get, a poor man's Call of Duty with R6 Siege Specialists with a light sprinkling of Battlefield.

This game feels like EA have put a lot of talented people together and told them "Make Call of Duty, but try keep it Battlefield".

I played the free weekend and it actually hyped me for getting the new Call of Duty (Even though i'm not a massive COD Fan) it is a great advertisement for other Franchises, because it wants to be them so badly..

Have to say, it is awesome playing back through Halflife 2 again in VR. Shame developers like IO Interactive actual Game Developers couldn't make their own product Hitman 3 up to the standard this Mod. Just goes to show how mod teams can outshine developers of their own products. Please port episode 1 & 2. Excellent work.

This game is terrible, the Graphics look like a Mobile Game. I fancied a Football game, Never liked the FIFA games so checked the review sites and thought PES2021 looked good, so i came to Steam to give Konami my money, but it seems they no longer sell their Pro Evolution games on Steam. They are not selling their old games in favour of pushing a sub par mobile game which they allow you to see how bad it is for free. Once they realised this game was a flop, why didn't they put their old games back up for sale? seems like the executives running the Football games at Konami don't have a clue what they are doing. They are clearly not in the business of making money from their products. I managed to bag a copy of Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 from a third party retailer for pennies and then installed the Storm Patch, which brought the game right up to Season 2022. That is my Football fix sorted and Konami out of pocket for a sale of one of their newer games. Absolutely Backwards thinking !!

Purchased to support the work of the amazing dev team. I've purchased multiple copies of the game and will purchase all paid DLC. Literally every critique the community make for the game, that is a good idea, the devs take it on board and try and implement it in some way. Please support these awesome devs by purchasing DLC :)

Had Pancake Borderlands 2 in my library but never played it before playing this. I really enjoyed it and played it from start to finish including the DLC which comes free. Played on Quest 2 and reconfigured the controls. I added a Community Config for the control scheme to fix the driving on Quest 2. People have mentioned the offset Crosshair problem, I thought because it was an RPG, the guns had accuracy stats, so learned to point the crosshair slightly to the top right of the enemies. It made the game a little more challanging to get head shots, so added to the experience. Would be nice if it was fixed but isn't immersion breaking. We need more AAA titles converted for VR. This game and Fallout 4 VR, prove that VR ports can be extremely enjoyable. Definitely worth a play, if you haven't played the pancake version. I really enjoyed my time playing.

AI is atrocious, random AI hanging out of the scenery and randomly walking to their death. Won't follow you past certain boundaries. Gameplay is janky.. Roundhouse kick an individual in the face will result in a hit registration and sound effect but no character hit animation & they can follow up instantly with a punch, you know, like real life. I enjoyed the first hour or so, then it became a grind fest, a soulless, mind-numbing grindfest, attacking the same character in the exact same spawn location, over and over again. Boss AI are either God like or just stand and look at you while you smash their face in. If it had more work on animations and AI, probably would be a solid game. Feels like an Early Access indie game in it's current form.

Played the Free Weekend, Purchased the game, Went to play the game and the Servers have been down for 5 hours and there is no offline play. NOTE: when you purchase this game, you don't actually own it, you are just renting an online service. As soon as this game ages and Ubisoft stop supporting it with online servers, this game will be in your library but unplayable. You will have basically purchased a title screen and an intro video. Refunding..

Early Access Review
The Best Tactical FPS in VR. You can put any gun attachment on any gun. The guns look awesome and cant wait for the PVP. Has a few minor issues but i have no doubt these problems will be ironed out. Great game, if you like FPS and VR and you haven't got it, grab it.
