I have no idea why people say this game is "littered with bugs". In my 23 hours (so far) I've encountered some sound issues and a couple levitating NPCs, and that's literally it. Starfield was 10 times worse on release (I'd imagine it's not much better now).

This is a proper next-gen Stalker experience with tons of content and beautiful visuals (bar some weird shadow issues) that will instantly feel familiar to everyone who played the previous games. I went in thinking I'll just check it out for an evening or two, and now I just can't get my hands off the damn game. Don't hesitate to pick the game up right now - it's absolutely worth it.

And ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, the headshot sound deserves a chef's kiss.

So, I play VR games with wrist weights (1kg each), which is a great way to workout, highly recommend.
Recently I decided to finally try out Dragon Fist. I bought the game, played it for 2 weeks and got really used to fighting with the weight handicap. Today I finally tried out what it's like to ditch the weights.
Fellas, if you ever wanted to have an "anime moment", this is probably the most accessible way of achieving one. Call me Rock ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Lee cause all I need is a pair of fists to whoop your ass.

The game itself is absolutely a 10/10 and a must-have if you have a VR headset, and especially if you also have a friend with a VR headset - this is hands down the best way of duking it out in VR.

Scorn may not be a particularly good "game" - it's way too simple, criminally short, and has obvious shortcomings in the gameplay department (namely, the shooting segments). But it's a damn fine work of art that deserves your undivided attention if you're even a little intrigued by its visual design. It begs you to study and dissect it, and when it ends, it leaves you with twice as many questions as you had at the start of it. It's up to you to judge whether it's worth its money, but if you're into carefully crafted experiences with a lot of attention to detail, Scorn will not disappoint you.

after getting the 50 wins achievement, my head grew twice in size. I can see into the fourth dimension with my eyes closed. my family is terrified of me after I've successfully predicted mom's dinner 5 times in a row. today my father approached me for financial advice. I have cultivated an inane disgust for any and all wizards, I go into battle mode every time I see a cape. my next goal is to immigrate to the US so I can finally own a six-shooter.

This game's plot makes Death Stranding look like a a book about statistical analysis. It actively goes against almost every game design convention imaginable. The very idea that this game was successfully pitched and subsequently funded is absolutely preposterous.

And damn, it's a ride to remember.

Early Access Review
Compound is a rather simple game, both as a shooter and a roguelite. You explore randomly generated floors, find guns and shoot at enemies. You can see all that it has to offer in terms of content variety in twoor three hours. Truthfully, when you look at it under a microscope, it's actually pretty bare-bones and doesn't have a whole lot to offer.

And yet, I keep coming back to it. Again and again. I would launch it for a quick run, and suddenly my headset is out of charge. Is it the simple, but pleasing visuals? Is it the solid shooting mechanics? Or is it something else entirely? Honestly, I have no idea. But I keep coming back to it. I don't think I'm going to stop coming back to it any time soon. In fact, I'm going to boot it up as soon as I'm done writing this review.
