Original review written 2022: Pure co-op mayhem and fun :)

Edited review written 2025: Deep Rock Galactic is a special game for me...
In a time of darkness, family problems, personal mental-pshysical health problems, facing death of my best four legged Friend Elajas all of that trully testing my resilience and faith in human kind. Thanks to DRG I prevailed, finished university and have high hopes for the future.

Now you might be asking yourself why the f*ck "simple game " had a such big impact on me as a person and my life? Let me explain in four points...

1. Deep Rock Galactic is a game with without a doubt the BEST COMMUNITY that I ever encountered in online cooperative game. And I had some experience dating back to Payday 2 days in 2013-2014 but never such wholesome and light-hearted as in DRG.You want examples? Sure here is just one story of many:
During the ending of elimination mission on haz 5 driller blew out all 4 of us with his c4. What's special about that you might ask? Well none of us had iron will so the mission ended in failure and what's best about that we all laughed about that. Note that was done in public lobby with random people.

2. DRG is a game DESIGNED TO BE INTERACTIVE. That seems to be a quite obvious statement since we are talking about a wideo game but here me out...
Many of the modern games take you back from activly playing them by unnesesarry cutscenes, kilcams etc. There is none of that in DRG aside of short loading screen before you load into the mission and what's best even in a drop pod you can salute. So remember to...

3. ROCK AND STOOOONE! Simple addition of a one button salute option changed this game forever. Trust me when you will finally give this game a chance you will breath, eat and sh*t ROCK AND STOOOONE!

4. Deep Rock Galactic is a game that helped me to bond with many "strangers" in the void of the internet. Sometimes we spend only a dozen or so minutes together sometimes few hours sometimes few months sometimes few years but I always felt and to this day fell that was TIME WELL SPEND.

You propably noticed that I haven't said a single thing about the gameplay...
Well that was intentional because I want you to expierience it by yourself.
So c'mon go on buy this game full price or on sale it is worth your every penny and don't forget to remember...
