Between toxic teammates and/or toxic killers solo q is basically unplayable at this point as survivor. Playing with friends can be fun but faces a similar problem where if you get a killer who decides to play unfair and/or target you specifically for either your name, steam profile or other reason there isn't much to stop them no matter how good you get at the game. As killer it is only solo so any protection from mistreatment having a team offers isn't available to killer mains at all leaving you open to lots of mistreatment if you get a bully squad. Until a pve mode is added or some changes are made to make it more fair and/or cut down on the toxicity in the community I can't recommend it for either side.

updating to say devs have also removed the d pip feature which ruined progress for those unfortunate enough to come across bullies in the game which will make encountering them much less stressful. So because of those things I am updating my review. At least now even if half the games are bad it is as simple as moving on since you no longer lose process as a result. Could not be happier with the recent update, so thankful.

However since posting the bullying and in game targetting and harassment I have faced has got so bad I was forced to go on anon to even get a chance to play the game.
There was a perk called distortion that made it hard for bullies to single out specific people but since a recent update it is basically unusable.
On top of that the halloween event is so bugged anyone who put in the time and effort to level up a character to level 100 was rewarded by getting basically no chance at getting reward items for the event and I doubt it will be fixed.

The event is such a disappointment it has basically killed my interest in the game. I can't recommend it in it's current state.

I'll probably play for a bit and see if it ever changes but if it doesn't don't waste your time and money like I wasted mine.

Having to work twice as hard and spend over twice as many blood points for items simply because you have a p100 character is awful and VERY unfair.

Update to add the winter event is the exact same and without a fix i won't be playing anymore at all. this is completely unfair to be punished for getting to p100. No point in sticking around if every event is going to be unfair from here on out.
