Great Game, lots of depth, very nice QoL features, great dev team

just the right kind of difficult, the story keeps you engaged and the characters are interesting. gameplay is super solid and every weapon has a unique playstile while being a valid choice. i would like some different bosses but maybe im not far enough into the story yet. definitely a recommendation

Its true: the launch was pretty terrible. servers crashed all the time, i got my character deleted twice, lost my raft twice after already escaping the freeport hell - it was bad. but i stuck with the game and now that my friends and i have claimed a small patch of land on an island i can really REALLY enjoy the game. there is so much to do, whether you want to build a cool base, a cool ship, sail to other islands, look for hidden treasure, tame and breed all sorts of animals or just go exploring, this game has it all. its graphically taxing but i get 60+ fps at 1440p with my 1080ti on ultra. servers are a lot more stable now, ive had maybe 1 crash a day and no more lag, no higher ping than 80. and the best part: the devs are constantly updating the game, i think we've had 1 or 2 patches per day, even during the cristmas holidays and they communicate on their website and on twitter so when something breaks you will know why and what they are doing about it.

tl/dr: i wasn't gonna buy this, did anyway, soldiered through the launch and now im having a whale of a time! 8.5/10 game, can wholeheartedly recommend

best battle royale game so far for me, good balance between accessability and complexity, runs really well even on a potato and most importatnly: the devs are VERY active. forget PUBG where you get a minor update every couple of months. we got changes every week so far, sure, some issues remain and sometimes they go overboard with their tweaking but they listen to the community and keep making changes to make the game better. i can whole heartedly recommend this game, which is putting a new unique twist on the BR genre. 5/7 would play again
