I'm using my school laptop and it runs fine (on all low graphics settings, but who cares?).
Good community.
You can play it for free.
The level at which you finish this game doesn't exist. I've poured well over 1,500 hours and I'm not getting anywhere near bored of it.
It's also a good way to make money, if economics and trading is your thing.

CONS:
Microtransactions. Microtransactions everywhere. I think I've spent at least $400 dollars on this game. Smart move, Valve. Smart move.

But yes, very recommended. If you don't think about the massive amounts of money you will eventually pour into this game, I definitely say it's something you should pick up.
