this is one of my favorite games of all time. i get sentimentally attached very easily, and the recent news has made me very sad.

i have loved and will continue to love immersing myself in this world, but it feels a little more hollow now. i love collecting and having a record of my progress, and while i know nothing lasts forever, my willingness to invest my time has taken a big hit - it's a lot easier to do when there's an illusion of stability, and when you know those that created the soul of the game are still present.

i can't recommend starting this game at this point, as much as i want to. along with a lot of others, my faith has been shaken that there will be anything worthwhile here in the future.
