I'm not even finished with this game and it's one of the best things I have ever experienced.
Yes, seriously. Not just in video games, but in general. Great bosses, understands the art of not using music until the time is right like Half-Life does, some of the best combat in any video game I've ever played- I could go on, but this review needs to end sometime.
This is definitely booting a game off of my top 5, I do not understand how a game can be this good. Almost assured 10/10 from me, save for some strange design issues.
P.S.- Ornstein and Smough are also one of my new favorite video game bosses. Absolutely immaculately designed boss, so good that I just had to keep trying until I beat them.

If you're looking for a 10-15 hour long experience that's fun all the way through, this game's got you covered. You're almost never in the same place twice, but when you are, it always feels different. This is also the case with the gameplay, you'll never have the same experience twice. The gunplay might be a little outdated, relying on mostly hitscan for its arsenal, but the weapons are all varied and fun to use. And the story? A little simple if you think about it, but it's done well and never feels unoriginal.
Overall a 9/10 game. Pick it up if you haven't.

Favorite game of all time.
While it's much more light-hearted than the first, I personally prefer the less timing-focused puzzles and the humor. Especially because of Cave Johnson. J.K. Simmons is my favorite actor.
It also has map creation tools, which are a great way to get into game design and development. There are even multiple options, including the default puzzle maker (PeTI) and the developer map creator (Hammer).
Pick it up if you haven't. There's an infinite amount of content for just 2 dollars during sales.
