It's fun but you'll get stuck half way due to cheated leaderboards

Reached 8-1 with only level 1 units. Idk how but I will try and beat 8-1 with a level 1 squad.

EDIT 1: Stuck on Elite 5-1 with a level 1 squad as well. Not giving up here. Gotta find a way.

EDIT 2: After a couple of hours doing Auto - Fast Forward equipment grinding for each of my units, the Auto - Fast Forward feature was able to defeat 8-1 with level 1 units at a Rank A.

Idk I'm having a ton of fun playing this on the Steam Deck (Windows 10). You die a ton of times but everything is so fun and without delays. Everything has its purpose. You should read the game manual https://game.capcom.com/manual/makaimura_GG_RE/ Not sure why it's not in the game or I just missed it but tons of fun and worth the 10 EUR I spent on it during sale. Pretty hard to put down too

Busted unless you plan on modding the game outside of Steam. What works alright is the Campaign in-mission and Zombies in-game. The Safehouse stutters, the Main Menu stutters and almost everything else stutters. Running Steam in Offline Mode only reduces the weight of the stutters but they are still clearly there. Multiplayer in-match drops from 60 FPS to 18 FPS and always stays at 18 - 20 FPS no matter what unless you run an Offline MP startup function and run Steam in Offline Mode. Running Steam in Offline Mode actually improves the frame rate in the Campaign in-mission. Not drastically but noticeable. No Aspect Ratio option like in the other CoDs so a 16:10 display will forcefully squish the game. 16:9 is the ONLY Aspect Ratio that this game was designed for which you can't choose to use. The Black Market (IAPs) runs at 13 FPS and the game does NOT share the same save file for the Campaign when running Steam in Offline Mode so you must torture yourself and get worse performance by playing in Online Mode. I own all the DLCs for this game and I can't enjoy any of it.

This game came out at the wrong time. Worth getting it just for the Campaign alone. Insane amount of attention to detail during the Campaign as well as very satisfying gameplay from start to end. I don't know where they found such incredible artists but it's like each and every detail has its purpose and it isn't just there to make it look futuristic. Boots on the ground is there and the suit is given to you to flank the enemy if you want to be aggressive. The small sections of space combat in your personalized aircraft is the best space combat I have experienced to date. During the later parts of the missions you start realizing that there are actual methods to taking down enemy aircrafts and you just start going ham Top Gun style. Overall, I think they went all out for this campaign. The ending seems rushed I won't lie but man was this an experience. Zombies feel satisfying to kill in the Zombies mode but the maps could have been improved. They feel open enough but some areas might feel unfair when it's your first time playing. Multiplayer wise, they got a few solid small maps that let you crank up the action and the enemy is clearly visible most of the time which is great to me at least. I don't feel like the Campaign artists worked on the Multiplayer end for the maps though but since the guns and character models carry over, including the punchy gameplay, it feels pretty reasonable. I just wish that the Campaign artists could have a go at the multiplayer maps and it would have been incredible. The thank you message at the end of the Campaign and the response that the community gave, is heart breaking though

Price aside, it's a pretty damn solid CoD. Got all the CoDs that don't require constant internet connection and having a blast with them. Campaign is solid, Extinction is fun, idk what Squads is even supposed to be but the only thing I dislike about Multiplayer is that some of the maps or parts of them make it really hard to spot the enemy cause everything blends in together. I purchased the Season Pass for all the CoDs too and the Extinction DLCs go wild. Can be hard to find people playing on these DLCs but maybe someday, someone will make some really easy to access dedicated servers or something since very few people purchase DLCs for these CoD games

Their auto save feature doesn't auto save in a way you would expect so prepare to lose a ton of progress if you suddenly die to something
