There are some BRUTAL challenges in here, especially if you go for the challenge times, but the resets are quick and the levels are short, so it hits that Celeste-style sweet spot of trying and incrementally improving until you finally succeed. Controls take a little getting used to, but they grow on you.

Solid platformer! Controls can take a while to get used to, but once you do, the movement's nice and fluid. The time trials felt like just the right amount of challenge, I was able to clear each of them with a few seconds' leeway.

Wonderful puzzle game! The soundtrack and artwork are beautiful, and I was very pleased with the story and the voice acting. The collectible origami bonuses all have fun punchlines. The game never dives into any sort of deep complex origami, just sticking with single folds in eight directions, but they switch up the puzzles with one or two unique mechanics in each world, and it keeps it feeling fresh.

It's a pretty fun set of escape room puzzles, and I think I got my money's worth. Some of them were a bit too obtuse for me to solve, or I had a hard time figuring out what pieces were supposed to be related to each other, but after a few attempts I was able to figure out 90-95% of the puzzles without any guides. Contrary to the name, I didn't think the puzzles here were any more logic-based than others in the genre.

The presentation is a bit lacking. The visuals are all fine and are pretty cohesive, but there are some odd quirks where it's hard to tell what's a joke, what's serious, what's a bug, and what's just bad UI/UX design. Text is typed out letter by letter, and it displays the tags used to format the text being typed before the formatting pops in. I can't tell if this is a quirk, or a mistake. Menus all have this weird "don't do what I'm saying" thing going on, where you need to click a button labelled Alt+F4 in order to exit them (Alt+F4 just exits the game), and I can't tell if it's a joke, or a prank, or some other mistake.

I got lost for one puzzle because I threw an object somewhere and forgot about it, and that's 100% my own fault. It has music, but you have to find the music players, which I actually thought was kinda neat. That said, I mostly kept it quiet and caught up on my own music and some shows while going through this.

The grammar's a bit rough, but I think it gets better as it goes on, and I don't think that warrants docking any points here anyway. The first couple levels have this self-aware, self-deprecating "don't trust the developer" thing going on, and I think it makes those levels a little less enjoyable. Also, the screen when you beat one of the levels is really confusing, I was worried the whole game was over. Thankfully it wasn't, and there are four scenarios to go through, each fairly different generally longer than the last. I'm pretty sure the final one is longer then all the others combined, and thankfully the game saves after you open each door so I could put it down and resume later.

It felt like the developer was experimenting to find out which elements worked and which didn't as the game went on, and I hope they take what they've learned and make something stronger and more earnest with it. Despite my gripes, and various ups and downs, it gets a soft recommendation for anyone looking for some tricky puzzles.

Brilliant puzzle game! Combining and breaking apart blocks creates a lot of unique sokoban challenges, and I thought it was a satisfying way to refresh my math skills. You're able to click to instantly go to any accessible tile, which is a big time-saver, but I think it needs to be indicated better in-game. I was only aware of it because I saw an update post on the game's page.

The game could also benefit from a way to track your progress. It has 101 puzzles to complete and I managed to do them all, but it would be nice to have a star next to the save file when you've done them all, or maybe make (xx/101) show up after you've completed the "last" puzzle.

[Edit: When I first played it, the game had art that was likely done with AI, and I mentioned that in the original version of this review. The dev commissioned the art and was unaware that it was AI-generated. Once I brought it up, the developer personally redid the cutscene graphics. The new ones are pretty simple and a bit goofy, but I find them endearing. I wholeheartedly recommend supporting the dev and this game!]

I wasn't crazy about it at first, but then I began to understand, no pun intended. Each level has different rules, and by experimenting, you can deduce the meaning of each rule to finish all the screens of the current level. Some categories of puzzles gave me a lot more trouble than others, but there were a lot of moments where I would sleep on the puzzle after struggling with it for a while, then come back with fresh eyes and suddenly realize what to do.

Absolute masterpiece of a puzzle game. Very cool story laid out in a unique way. There's so much subtlety within the game's vignettes, and it is extremely satisfying to piece together the itinerary and trace each passenger's fate.

Browser game's still up and free, but this game sparked a genre and still is leagues above most other idle games, so it's worth dropping a few bucks to pay respect and keep improvements coming.

I played the browser game for a decade, and now I'm gonna play both the browser and desktop versions for another decade. The quest for 100% Achievements continues, the Grandmatriarchs must be appeased.

This is the peak of what the CD-I Zelda games could have been. The controls are responsive, progress is satisfying, and any drawbacks of the combat system are made up for by very forgiving respawns. The character design is top-notch. All the spritework, voicework, and of course the animations are done with a ton of care. An absolute gem, and I hope we can get a sequel as good as this.

Absolutely incredible puzzle game, a must-play if you are a fan of tile/grid logic puzzles. Character movement is satisfying, and it's easy to get hooked and sidetracked into doing dozens of hours of extra stuff on your way between the story/quest puzzles indicated on the map.

The Logic Grids are incredibly well-conceived and varied, and stand among the best I've played. I get the same sense of satisfaction as I do beating levels in Baba Is You, The Witness, Stephen's Sausage Roll, etc.

I understand the appeal of the semi-shared online game world, but agree with others that there should be an offline option for longevity and stability. Sometimes the physics glitch out or the server resets your position, which can get a little frustrating. There are some other things to nitpick, some frustrating elements or things that feel like they wasted my time, but the overall experience was so positive for me that they couldn't bring it down.

As they continue to improve it, I expect I'll keep coming back. Well worth full price.
