As much as the original THPS games haven't aged well compared to the modern and more popular TH games, such as THUGPro and THAW, THPS1+2 really refreshes the gameplay, with amazing visuals to boot.

Reignited my lost interest in skateboarding as well, though I still suck on a real board, lol

P.S. EA / Whoever from former VV, THPS3+4 pls

Very well made game, very interesting and unique art style, OST can't be beat.

A VR standard, it should be in every VR user's library, plain and simple

Very interesting and unique idea of gameplay, loved following this game from the time it was teased for Early Access, and now past full release with a good base campaign, with tools given to the community for their creativity's content.

Fair word of warning, game can be a little hardware intensive, with enough destruction can bog down my 6700-K/1070 to single digit frames.

I put 60 hours into this game to 100% complete and never touch it again.

I haven't had much experience with newer NFS games other than Carbon and Undercover, I gave Heat a shot to see what a modern NFS game would be like. I didn't like the driving mechanics from the beginning, trying to drive in anything other than a straight line felt like I was fighting with the game. "Drifting" mechanics were honestly the worst I've ever experienced, it never felt like I was in control of the drift. I only put so much time into the game grinding for crew level 50 and completing events with other players, otherwise I would've been done 30 hours ago.

The one saving grace I've had with this game is a dude by the name of ACE2FYE, thanks for making those 25 races fun, the couple hours in those races were the best I've had in the game, bar none.

Coming from someone who has put a lot of time into Underground 1/2, Most Wanted '05 and Carbon, Heat really doesn't hold a candle to those games. Police scanner chatter at night is so corny and edgy, but the daytime chatter actually utilized chatter something similar to Most Wanted, it could have been amazing if that chatter was on the night side. The main story is very short, I would go as far to say half the length of Undercover, and I beat that game in 11 hours. Soundtrack was such a dumpsterfire that I had it muted as soon as possible. Visual customization was alright, but definitely favored the stance crowd, could have used more classic wheels like Torq-Thrusts and Cragars for the classic muscle.

TL;DR worst NFS game I've played, not looking forward to future NFS games

Early Access Review
for $20, it's worth every penny as a VR game. Arguably the best VR gun game out there, no contest.

Super friendly community, great soundtrack, what is there to really nitpick about?

Holy crap, I didn't even get 10% of the references and memes as a kid playing Breaking the Bank, Escaping the Prison and Stealing the Diamond.

Is it overpriced? Maybe. I honestly like it as it breathed new life into weapons I've used for a long time, suppressed pistols are easier to aim with, and the Vortex UH-1 and Steiner holo is pretty cool to have in game

I'll be honest, I slept on this game for awhile. Bought it during the 2019 Summer Sale, didn't play it until very recently. I thought it would be a much more hardware-intensive, but it runs rather well on a laptop with an i5-7300HQ & 1050.

Anyway, I've enjoyed this game so far. Different terrains bring different challenges, there may be areas that are easily accessible with one vehicle, but near impossible with another.

The variety of vehicles is pretty good right now, more times than not I'm running with a Humvee but some vehicles are certainly better than others. The only vehicles I would TOTALLY want in MudRunner (or if SnowRunner comes to Steam) is the HEMTT or FMTV families of vehicles (HEMTT would fit right in as an American E-7310, with the M977 for short/med logs, M978 with the Fuel Cistern, possibly the M1120 LHS for long longs, if not the M1075 PLS)

My only complaint with this game right now is it doesn't seem to like alt-tabbing, almost acting as if the game was closed, causing you to have to load the game from the main menu once you alt-tab back in.
