Without a doubt one of the most unique and entertaining rougelike/rpg games available on Steam. The unorthodox graphics and gameplay make the game somewhat unapproachable for new players, but if you can overcome the initial learning curve you'll discover one of the richest and most compelling rougelike/rpg games you will likely ever play.

All we wanted was functional multiplayer and online coop. That's all it would have taken for this game to be successful. What a massive letdown and wasted opportunity.

A once great game that's slowly become a sad mixture of monetized season passes and broken promises. For example, almost immediately after Psyonix was bought by Epic they went back on their word of maintaining multi-OS support by revoking Linux support, causing hundreds of players on Linux who had owned, played and updated their game through Linux since the release of the game in 2015 to no longer be able to play. Just one of the many examples of how this game has been trending downwards in terms of community/developer communication and transparency. DO NOT trust anything said by Epic concerning the future of this game, they have consistently lied about and backtracked on most, if not all, promises they made to players during the Psyonix acquisition. The game is fun, no doubt. But I cannot on principle recommend a game that is now developed and published by the single most dishonest and untrustworthy game development company on the planet.

Hands down the best singleplayer RPG I have ever played. This game caught a fair amount of criticism when it first released for bugs and technical issues, however this is because no game like this has ever existed. When you're on the forefront of RPG game development and setting the precedent for RPG games to come there are bound to be some growing pains. I can happily say that almost all of the bugs and technical issues have been resolved over the past year, and this game is now without doubt the most intricate, detailed and immersive RPG you can get your hands on. Besides all the fantastic RPG elements such as suffering the consequences of your actions when interacting with every single NPC in the world, the combat alone puts most other RPG games to shame. It is very challenging and will require practice on the players part and training on Henry's part to master, as you will swing your sword like a wet noodle when you are first introduced to Henry. All in all, if you enjoy medieval RPG games and value historical accuracy and realism, you will not find a better game than this masterpiece.

Like World of Warships and World of Tanks smashed into one game with planes except it's better than both of those piles of junk in every single way.

This game is the spiritual successor to Chivalry Medieval Warfare. Improved graphics, vastly improved combat, better maps, more customization etc. I was doubtful of the 30 dollar price tag at first but I can say confidently that this game is worth the money. In a gaming world where AAA development studios produce games that are more often than not just the minimum viable product for some quick cash, this game really is a breath of fresh air. Developed by a small team of devs that truly care about the game and the community, this game stands out as a solid, pure unadulterated fun game.

The first insurgency was an excellent tactical FPS and the continuation of the series is no different. Sandstorm has improved on many of the succesful qualities of the first game and added several new gameplay mechanics such as vehicles and various class specific abilites and items. Along with the superior graphics and sound design, Sandstorm has taken everything great from the first game and created something even better. As we have already seen noticable gameplay/performance quality improvements in the pre-order beta period, I can't not reccomend this game.
