Does not even launch 9 times out of 10.

Game was just removed from my account for no reason 2 years after purchase. Game was purchased on Fanatical in 2022. 1st time I get a game removed from my account. Publisher claims it was a beta key or something like that but I had access to the full game for 2 years. Feels like I've been scammed.

Beautiful graphics and physics, very well optimised, but... it's just that and nothing more.

The rest of the game is utter trash. Incredibly cringe-y plot that becomes unbelievable as soon as you ditch the super important main quest to go on some wild goose chase for a side mission. It seems the kind of stuff that a kid would come up with.

Interestingly, it does not use quest marks but tells you where to go in a diegetic manner, either through dialogue or with signs. Sadly there's too much padding, You get random missions while you're trying to do the main quest and the game does not really say anything about them being useless side missions that will just waste your time. Every now and then (while navigating, during a dialogue, during a cutscene) the game will flash some random images at you that bear no meaning whatsoever but it may look cool if you're 12-14, a developer at Remedy or someone that underwent a lobotomy.

The NPCs make me feel like I want to punch them in the throat through my monitor, they're incredibly annoying (only interesting one seems the janitor guy). Incredibly dull fighting mechanics, useless upgrade trees and useless random drops. You can level your first ability and steamroll the whole game without even thinking, Not sure why it got so much praise considering that it's just a turd with a pretty dress on. It's trash.

Probably one of the best looking games of 2023 (it's "just" UE5). The world looks quite nice but it's full of invisible walls that will stop you from navigating around. Like you can kind of fly around but you can't jump over a tiny chain or stuff like that. Most things won't even move when you hit them, you basically cannot interact with anything. There's no environmental destruction of any kind, which makes the whole world feel FAKE. Combat has no depth, feels like it never went over alpha stage. You'll end up running away from enemies just because the whole fighting mechanic is dull and you feel like you're wasting your time. It's clear that they didn't know what they wanted to make, the whole open world feels forced, there's like around 900-1000 icons on your map, too many collectables, very few meaningful ones. The main story is kind of OK (something like your average anime story) but feels completely disconnected from the open world game. If you're into Japanese culture it might be worth playing, but after a while the massive issues with this game will make you dislike it.
I really tried to enjoy this but... it's kind of flawed.

Does not even support basic functions like steam cloud save backups...

This game is just... lovely! lots of fun! :D

You can feel the Sam "spirit" in this game even if it's not developed by croteam.
You can fight against the 2D version of a lot of "famous" SS monsters and as usual for a SS game you get a lot of big guns but there's a weapon stack thing is just great (would love to see it in the 3D SS games).

And the most important thing... as in the other SS games... You can run but you can't hide

Do not buy this even on sale. With all the respect that one can have for someone else's work, this "thing" is really too bad to be played. If you are a gamer and hell exists and there's a specific place in hell for gamers, well, probably this is what you'll have to play forever there (while burning in flames and all the other hellish stuff).
